Local Business Governance, Conduct & Supervision

• Support the Markets Heads in the effective supervision of Markets staff, and oversight of Global Credit Markets (GCM), Treasury Markets, and Capital Markets Products and Solutions (CMPS) staff in the Markets dealing room where applicable.
• Support the Markets COO Cluster leads in the Cluster Conduct Forums.
• Support the Markets COO Cluster leads in product enablement through the Product Governance process.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead the Markets COO Clusters team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles FM Code of Conduct .
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

• University Degree (Finance /Banking Preferable)
• Certifications in Accounting, Financial risk manager qualification preferable but not mandatory
• 10+ years experience in business risk management

Responsibilities

• Manage Programs/Projects involving Optical Infrastructure/Services deployment.

• Project Governance - Ensuring project resources execute against plans within the agreed time frame and budget.

• Tracking costs associated to a project, ensuring projects remain within budget

• Stakeholder Management - Leading scrum and other project calls as required, whilst keeping teams and management informed of critical activities and challenges impacting the program.

• Supporting Vendor & Supplier Management, including logistics where needed

• Reporting - Create group/project weekly Product Status Reports (PSRs), Milestone trackers, Metrics & Reports for communicating statuses to management.

• Risk & Issue Management – Working with resources to ensure risks/issues are identified, documented, and managed to guidelines.

• Attend project wash-up reviews and provide input to develop key learnings and execute actions to address them.

• Identify areas for continuous improvement, document issues seen, and provide suggestions on how to handle them.

Skills/Requirement

• 5 years+ experience executing Agile project/program management.

• Optical/DWDM deployment project experience of Ciena and/or Infinera networks is desirable

• Relevant experience in the IT/Telecom and/or Datacenter industry

• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate at the executive level.

• Experience with Jira/Confluence & MS Office suite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• SCRUM practitioner certification or equivalent

• ITIL V4 foundation desirable

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in relevant background.
• Min 3-5 years in sales role (business development & account servicing) in chemical/carbon black industry.
• Experience in SEA region sales.
