Job Purpose

This position provides critical support to the Total Rewards team to ensure smooth processing and administering of Ralph Lauren’s Total Rewards programs & initiatives in Singapore & Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs for Singapore and Malaysia
• Handle payroll processes for Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations
• Work with payroll vendor, regional and business partners to process monthly payroll, statutory claims, pension administration, foreign employee tax clearance and annual tax filing
• Responsible for sales commission calculations and incentive consolidation for eligible employees
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks specific to Singapore and Malaysia
• Support market research and salary surveys to help benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards in both countries
• Assist in the annual salary review and bonus processes for both countries
• Perform regular audits of payroll and commission calculations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and commission-related matters
• Support implementation of regional & global total rewards initiatives

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma holder in Human Resources or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of Compensation & Benefits experience in Singapore and Malaysia
• Able to work in dynamic, fast paced environment, preferably in the retail industry
• Good knowledge in labor legislation and local employment practices
• Good interpersonal skills and able to relate with all levels of people
• Well-organized, responsible, efficient, with strong analytical skills
• Detail-minded, independent, adaptive to changes
• Proficiency in Microsoft office application software
  

Descriptions:

• Provide day-to-day support on HR and admin functions
• Manage HR core functions such as Performance Appraisal, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Safety & Compliance, Employee Benefits
• Handle office admin matters, as well as contract and the billing related matters (AR & AP)
• Coordinate training initiatives for all employees, responsible for collecting training needs, submitting training for Government funding claims and grant applications
• Ensure that HR policies and procedures are in accordance with Singapore Employment Law.
• Administer Employee Master’s records and ensure required personal documents are in place and maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employees’ records
• Provide response to employee’s enquires on HR-related matters
• Handle and manage general office administration including but not limited to procurement of office and pantry supplies etc
• Assist on staff business travel insurance, travel accommodation booking upon request
• Contribute to the process of Office Improvement Project, events, function, etc
• Review and actively manage the corporate website and company portal
• Perform ad-hoc duties as and when being assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Business Administrative/HR or a related discipline with at least 5 years of working experience in the related field preferred
• Strong knowledge in local HR practices, employment law and regulations
• High initiative, independence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Meticulous with the ability to multitask and highly adaptable to change
• Able to work with tight deadlines , willing to learn and with can-do attitude
• Positive personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, good facilitation and a proactive team player
• Experience in government grants/ funding administration
• Familiar with GSuite and basic IT knowledge
• Experience in SAP SuccessFactor software will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Individual seller responsible for accelerating organic growth whilst delivering on revenue plans
• Own the commercial relationship with your clients, develop Joint Business Plans and a strong understanding of your clients’ business strategy, objectives and growth opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program Operations Support
  • Manage pre-matriculation and daily operational matters for Postgraduate Professional Programs
  • Pre-matriculation duties include:
    • Collaborates closely with Recruitment and Admission teams on application timeline to ensure sufficient turnaround time for pre-term administrative works.
    • Gather pre-term administrative information from incoming students for logistics planning.
    • Prepare all pre-matriculation documents for communication to incoming students.
    • Plan and design orientation programme, including operational and logistical arrangements.
    • Co-ordinate with Registrar Office on online matriculation and ID verification.
    • Co-ordinate with relevant offices to arrange for presentation sessions, campus tours, etc. for Orientation
    • Prepare welcome pack.
    • Sources vendors who can provide the appropriate team building and leadership development programme suitable for students.
    • Executes all orientation activities, gathers feedback from students via an online platform, and evaluates external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with program and Registrar policies and guidelines.
• Stakeholders' management
  • Act as a liaison between the Deanery, Academic Director, faculty, staff, and students.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for students.
  • Provide personalized attention to the high-profile executives enrolled in the programs.
  • Address last-minute requests and follow-ups promptly, ensuring a high level of service standards.
• Alumni Relationship Building
  • Recognize the potential high net worth and influential status of the students.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to engage and foster relationships with the alumni.
• Student's Financials
  • Serves as point of contact to students for all tuition fee billing inquiries including grant administration from external parties
  • Reviews the aging report, following up with reminders to students as needed.
  • Resolves finance-related issues with Office of Finance
  • Prepares budget submissions and track expenses for individual cost centers.
• Events Management
  • Support Programme Manager in the administrative, operational, and logistics arrangement of events as and when required, e.g., Conferences/Workshops/Competitions/ Graduation Dinner/ Networking Events/Award Ceremony/Overseas segments

• Bachelor's degree with at least three years of related experience or a diploma with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Prior experience relevant to this position or acquired in an educational setting will be advantageous.
• Analytical and meticulous with an eye for details.
• A good team player, independent and initiative.
• Ability to multi-task with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Decisive, with ability to work well under pressure.
• IT savvy and proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Able to work on weekends and weekday evenings when required.
