Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Accounts cum HR Executive to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines financial expertise with HR management, ensuring smooth operations across our retail and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will manage accounting tasks, HR functions, and sales reporting, including e-commerce platforms such as TikTok, Shopee, and WordPress, as well as retail sales from distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Functions:
- Bookkeeping and Financial Records:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all business activities.
Record daily transactions, process invoices, and track expenses.
- GST Reporting and Compliance:Prepare and file quarterly GST reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Sales Reporting:Compile and analyze sales reports from e-commerce platforms (TikTok, Shopee, WordPress).
Collect and reconcile sales reports from the retail segment, including distributors.
Prepare consolidated sales performance reports, identifying trends and key performance metrics.
- E-Commerce and Retail Operations Management:Track and reconcile revenue, payments, and inventory movements across e-commerce and retail channels.
Monitor and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), inventory levels, and margins for all sales segments.
- Corporate Tax Preparation:Compile and organize financial documents, including company purchases and invoices, for corporate tax submissions.
Liaise with tax consultants and auditors to ensure accurate filings.
- Purchases and Inventory Management:Manage company purchases and ensure proper documentation of invoices and receipts.
Oversee stock levels, inventory valuation, and coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Payroll and Financial Reporting:Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (CPF, income tax, etc.).
Generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
Human Resource Functions:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:Assist in job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
Handle onboarding processes, including contract preparation and employee orientation.
- Employee Records Management:Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, and manage attendance and leave records.
Process claims and benefits administration.
- Policy Implementation:Support the development and implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Employee Engagement and Welfare:Assist in initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
Coordinate team events, training programs, and wellness activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Experience:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and HR, with exposure to managing retail and e-commerce operations.
Experience handling platforms like TikTok, Shopee, WordPress, and working with retail distributors is essential.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and HR systems is a plus.
- Skills:Strong knowledge of GST reporting, corporate tax preparation, and payroll management.
Proficiency in analyzing sales reports, managing COGS, and tracking inventory.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
