• Be involved in the case management team (CMT) meetings / operations to give feedback and updates on pupils (within the limits of confidentiality)
• Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions for pupils who require counselling support.
• Keep clear and up-to-date records of cases under monitoring (monthly reports for critical cases).
• Work closely with SDT, CMT and teachers to support the emotional well-being of the pupils under his/ her guidance.
• Manage cases as designated by Year Heads and Discipline Mistress
• Conference with staff, parents and external professionals on students under his/her guidance
• Look into the referral of students and their families to community resources or external professionals when needed and work with external agencies to support the child

Requirements

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferably have at least three years of relevant working experience in a primary school setting.
• Possess professional qualification in Counselling (Eg.at least a diploma certified by a recognised counselling body).

Working hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1:30pm
• When necessary between Mondays to Fridays, 7:30am to 6:00pm
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
