What you will do:

Ensure smooth running of payroll cycles, overall HR and daily administration
Responsible for creation, deployment and review of the recruitment strategy
Work with the management on recruitment and talent management
Advise employees on HR and other admin matters (leaves, recruitment, payroll, retention, insurance etc)

Payroll

Process monthly payroll
Verify reports submitted by restaurant managers including number of hours to pay, overtime payment, shift payment, commission and deductions
Process and submit monthly CPF, SDL and FWL payments
Process employee IR8A statement annually

Talent Management

Managing performance at various points of an employee such as regular reviews and confirmations
Spearhead and administer the annual appraisal exercise
Manage leave balances and other benefits
Review and manage employee’s incentive structure and welfare
Create and administer the internship and apprenticeship programs with all relevant educational institutes and government bodies
Create and deploy training programmes including WSQ courses among others

HR Administration

Perform general administrative duties and manage onboarding/offboarding processes such as lockers, uniforms, name tags, and name cards
Ensure maintenance of updated information of employees in P-files
Apply, renew and cancel work passes for foreign applicants
Source, screen and interview candidates through every available channel
Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
Manage employees disciplinary, grievances, termination and resignation procedures
Other admin tasks as assigned

Corporate Initiatives

Plan and organise employee engagement events & activities
Launch initiatives to improve employer branding

The Person:

Passionate about F&B and making a difference
Preferably has HR experience in the F&B industry
Proactive and meticulous
Excellent planning and analytical skills
Effective time management & prioritization skills
Resourceful, adaptive, efficient and able to work independently
Familiarity with software such as StaffAny and Talenox is an added advantage

Hiring of foreign construction workers:

Liaise with different stakeholders (e.g. Project Manager or Agent) for the selection of new workers.

Ensure that work pass holders have completed medical examination or extended passport expiry dates (if required).
Work with HRIS (People Services) to integrate new hire details into HR system (Darwinbox) and maintain/ update these details in Darwinbox.

Application and Renewal of S Pass/ Work Permit/ Contracts:

Handle full spectrum of administration for work pass application and renewal including working with the various stakeholders (e.g. MOM) on the required documents.
Administration includes ensuring completion of medical examination, security bond and extension of passports etc.
Work with People Services to ensure timely contract renewals for staff/ workers.

Total Rewards:

Handle workers’ claims, insurance & other HR related queries.
Administration of overtime compensation and safety incentives for workers.
Work with various sites’ administrative assistants to ensure accurate leave administration in HR system (e.g. for unpaid leave/ overseas leave which affects pay/ levy waiver).
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in the HR function.

Requirements:

Diploma in Business / Human Resources or any other relevant diploma
Min 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Construction Industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS word, Excel and Power Point
Good knowledge of employment laws & practices

Update and maintain data of employees in HR systems, ensures data accuracy of all entries 
File and maintain e-personnel documents in an organized manner under the Employee’s individual P-file 
Administer & update Leaves and schedule of outlet staffs 
Monitor & process all work passes renewal and applications 
Preparation of Employment contract, memos and other necessary letters & correspondence  Monthly payroll, CPF submission and commission calculation 
Handle the recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding process 
To prepare yearly IR8A and to upload to tax portal for employee’s tax filing, to file IR21 and manage tax clearance etc. for WP holders
Manage the employee's communication e.g announcement of policies, events etc 
Liase with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance 
To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors

Job Requirements

Preferably Diploma in HR Administration/ Accounting 
At least 2 -3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field 
Required Skill(s): Microsoft excel 
Preferably good knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and the Singapore Labour Law 
Able to deal with people of different levels, internal and external. 
Pro-active attitude, responsive, reliable, resourceful, willing to learn and a good team player 
Meticulous and analytical
Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules 
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
Good with numbers

· Strong understanding of Jira’s technical configuration, including workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.

· Experience in automating Jira operations, preferably with GitHub actions and Terraform.

· Ability to analyse and optimise system performance and scalability.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to train and support users.

Required Certification:
