Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the factory management team, contributing to overall factory operations and decision-making.
- Drive the Employee Engagement plan for the factory in collaboration with the SCO functional HRBP, and actively participate in the site's safety efforts.
- Support training needs based on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and the training plan for the factory. Participate in (but not lead) the World Class Manufacturing Training and Education pillar.
- Act as the primary contact with local government authorities, such as social security and the labor ministry. Represent the company in internal and external audits, manage labor suits and government audits, and interact with internal and external lawyers. May also represent the company in court.
- Drive the Performance Management of Blue Collar employees, aligning with a balanced mix of team and individual objectives to support World-Class Manufacturing involvement and achieve Factory Performance/KPIs.
- ssist managers in defining roles for resourcing, coordinating with SCO functional business partners, and potentially participating in the recruitment process for Blue Collar employees.
- Ensure, where applicable and in coordination with the HR Country Representative, the quality and application of benefits, particularly focusing on the blue-collar benefits package, and oversee any changes to the package.
- Support the payroll process by ensuring proper reporting, analysis, and legal compliance of overtime and shift hours. Collaborate with the SC Rewards team to ensure the timely and accurate payment of overtime and factory-specific allowances.
- Take charge of labor relations in collaboration with the HR Country Representative, serving as the main contact with local unions to address labor relations issues, agreements, and represent the company in all matters.
- Manage regular agreements, grievances, and, in collaboration with global and SC Rewards process managers, handle annual salary negotiations
Requirements
- At least minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in HR Country Services / Factory environment.
- Knowledge of SMETA Audit Methodology is an added advantage
- Proven work experience in manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Trade Unions preferred
- Strong experience in Employee Engagement preferred
