Accounts Payable (AP)

• Perform AP-related postings, including AP invoicing, Outgoing payments, and creation of fixed asset master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, in compliance with company policies and internal approval matrix.
• Take charge of payments and refunds, ensuring timeliness of payments and completeness of paperwork.
• Obtain and reconcile monthly vendors’ Statement of Account, ensuring AP invoices are posted timely for prompt payments.
• Prepare and monitor weekly and monthly AP reports: bank reconciliation, AP Aging, and balance-sheet accounts.
• Monitor open AP related transactions: open invoices, budget requisition and purchase orders.
• Process creation and maintenance of vendors in system.

General Ledger

• Prepare and maintain the accounts and financial reports for designated activities and any other funds or grants.
• Prepare journal vouchers for any internal charge, intercompany charge, or journal adjustments.
• Perform fixed asset capitalization for Capex and Construction capital works.
• To liaise with internal and external auditors.

Cash Handling

• Administer, distribute, and reconcile petty cash and cash advances closely with Executive Assistants and Academic Administrators.
• Work closely with all petty cash and cash advance holders ensuring timeliness of monthly reconciliation and completeness of approval in compliance with the company policies.
• Prepare and reconcile weekly and monthly petty cash reports, including monthly cash count and cash reconciliation reports.

Requirements:

• One year's experience in an accounting role (preferably AP). Training provided.
• Experience in any accounting firms would be an advantage; Experience of working in a multi-national environment would be desirable.

Job Scope:

The individual will be involved in performing study of trade volumes, shipping patterns and the market. This will be crucial in ensuring cost efficiency and profitability for the business.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct and develop study of trade volumes, market circumstances and shipping patterns for the specific trade lane assigned.

· Increase cost effectiveness and profitability through assessment of shipping routes, capacity and pricing.

· Develop trade forecasts through analysing the market.

· Work closely with stakeholders on trade and growth plans to ensure operational efficiencies.

· Encourage the development of new trade channels and evaluate prospective expansion prospects.

· Monitor shipping operations performance indicators and provide recommendations for enhancements.

The Ideal Candidate:

· Bachelors Degree in Maritime, Business or any related discipline is a plus.

· More than 3 years of experience in the shipping industry with strong background in data analytics and market research on trade lanes is advantageous.

· Proficiency in Power BI, Dashboarding and other reporting tools is a plus.

· Individuals with great communication and stakeholder management skill is a plus.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide reception duties for the office which includes handling of phone calls and manage internal and external parties timely
• Receive and greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage the office administration for the company including upkeep and maintenance of the office.
• Ensuring all office equipment and office supplies are available for day-to-day operations and research new deals and suppliers
• Provide administrative support to the Singapore team primarily and other offices as and when required
• Prior with/without experience in accurately effecting telegraphic transfer overseas through banking platforms to settle fund's expenses, capital activities and etc
• Communicate effectively with local and overseas internal and external stakeholders.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mails and arrange local/overseas courier
• Assist in the coordination of ad-hoc company functions/events/duties/activities/projects as and when required

Administrative Assistant Requirements:

• Minimum A level/Diploma holders
• 1-year with/without experience
• Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
• Meticulous, Independent, self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A can-do attitude and someone that takes initiative.
• Able to start work on/around Mar'25
