About the Role

The Manager in the ST Outreach and Engagement team will conceptualise, plan and execute events and the publicity plan for The Straits Times, based on objectives, target audience and requirements.

EVENTS

Scope of works:

1. Typing / printing
2. Data entry work
3. Reception duties
4. Answering telephone calls from teachers, parents and members of the public
5. Data collation of surveys
6. Preparation of refreshements for school event
7. Sorting and delivery for items delivered to the school
8. Attend to students who are unwell / injuried in the sick bay.
9. Assist school staff with binding and lamination works
10. Maintain the school’s stores for office supplies and stationeries
11. Other ad-hoc duties

• Perform corporate customers debt collections, including sending email reminders
• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) ageing and follow up actively to reduce AR days
• Liaise with customers/institutions on billing matters/disputes
• Monthly prepare AR ageing report
• Follow up on unidentified payments from customers
• Preform AR balance confirmation for corporate customer
• Ad-hoc generate statement of accounts and send to customers/ institutions
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting is preferred; Candidates without experience are welcome to apply
• Experience in SAP and/or S/4Hana is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Possess good communication skills to communicate with stakeholders of all levels
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Outgoing personality that enjoys working with people
• Meticulous, high integrity and have a positive work attitude.
