Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects related to Events and Training function under Sales and Marketing Department
• Plan, coordinate and execute corporate events from venue sourcing, logistics requirement, budget planning and control, product flow, onsite execution to ensure smooth and profitable event execution.
• Coordinate and execute all event marketing and promotion (included Pre and post) via company communication channel to ensure achieve of event ticket sales target
• Manage of event plan and post event report and activities
• Plan, coordinate, conduct and monitor the overall company training system and related activities to ensure all training sessions/programs are implemented effectively, including training room rental & set up and related training administration, etc.
• Manage Trainers pool to ensure all trainers are qualified and adhere to training policy and stanadard
• Work closely with distributors via periodical visits; motivate and support them in increasing their momentum to drive sales growth.
• Act as Corporate Speaker for assigned training sessions and corporate events where necessary.
• Support field development special projects and other duties as assigned by Sales Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree Holder preferably in Business, or related discipline. Fresh Grad is welcome
• Minimum 2 years working experience in Direct Selling Industry and organize events
• Candidates with more experiences may be considered as Senior position based on education level and working experience
• Experience in public speaking and providing training is an advantage
• Good communication skills, presentation skills, and coordination skills with influencing power
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS PowerPoint applications, etc.

The Courage Chapter has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Finance Executive for our client, a Non-Governmental Organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, Fixed assets, GL, banking transactions and timely preparation of monthly financials schedules and statistics for the management and the Board’s review.
• Support the full cycle of the internal and external audit.
• Prepare the yearly budget, mid-year budget review and monitor actual expenditure against budget.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and any other statutory filing as and when required.
• Cashflow management including investments accounting and reporting.
• Review and ensure compliance with Finance policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance guidelines as stipulated by the regulatory bodies such as the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Commissioner of Charities, and National Council of Social Service, etc.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, corporate secretarial agent, and other external parties such as financial institutions.
• Support Sub-committees and Board meetings, including presentation and writing of minutes.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects including process improvements.
• Adhere to Company's policies (including PDPA and staff-related) and procedures diligently, carry out duties in accordance with the specified service level and in good governance, observe client's information, confidentiality, and conduct oneself professionally when interacting with internal and external parties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• ACCA/CPA or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or equivalent
• Minium 3 years relevant working experiences
• Able to work in a team and detailed oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills to supervise Finance Executive(s)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial regulations
• Strong team player with an independent work ethic and strong drive to complete assigned tasks and projects
