Role Summary

This role entails the oversight of brand sales KPI and category management within Singapore. It involves managing relationships with suppliers located overseas, specifically in China, Europe, and the USA. There will be regular meetings, both online and face-to-face. This includes facilitating training sessions, coordinating meetings, and hosting lunches for visiting suppliers in Singapore.

Role Description

• Primary responsibility is to manage supplier brands originating from China, Europe, and the USA, overseeing their sales and product categories including dry food, wet food, treats, toys and accessories. Have continual collaboration with suppliers on new product introductions and product discontinuations to accommodate new products.
• Competitive price checks are essential to ensure our pricing remains competitive in the market
• Regular meetings online and offline to update suppliers on sales performance, fostering strong relationships
• Organize training sessions and meetings, as well as hosting supplier lunches when they are in Singapore
• Gather marketing assets from suppliers for website uploads
• Planning promotions to clear existing inventory
• Coordinating with Marketing for digital product launches
• Monitoring franchise costs in Singapore to adhere to predefined percentages, and sharing new products with Malaysia corporate stores and overseas franchise teams
• Collate orders from these regions and liaise with planners accordingly
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Role Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Business Management / Administration, Commerce or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement of buying activities within the FMCG
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word - VLOOKUP & Pivot tables, PowerPoint)

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven working experience of 1-2 years in social media marketing and/or social media management.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages of a portfolio of companies;
2. Oversee the month end closing process for a portfolio of companies;
3. Supervise a team of junior accountants/executives in day to day outsourced finance function, including AP processing and payroll;
4. Plan, oversee and/or execute the consolidation of financial statements;
5. Compilation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards

Requirements:

1. At least 4 years (Senior) or 5 years (Supervisor) working experience in similar field with some years of external audit experience or outsourcing function within corporate service providers.
2. Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or their equivalent.
3. Well-verse in SFRS, IFRS and generally acceptable accounting practices.
4. Good knowledge of internal control, risk management and corporate governance.
5. Sincere and committed, good time management and problem-solving skill, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently within fast-paced environment, effective verbal, and written communication skill.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
