The Executive in this role operates within a community and family-focused environment, regularly engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to advocate for and effectively communicate our brand. This individual will also support the manager in fundraising efforts by leveraging various communication tools and strategies.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who is self-motivated and capable of setting clear, meaningful goals. They exhibit high levels of resilience when faced with challenges and are service oriented, keen on meeting the needs of internal clients. The Executive is also expected to propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our ability to communicate our vision and mission.

Key responsibility areas

1. Marketing Communications and Public Relations

In support of the Manager, the Executive will:

• Assist in executing MSCS’s communications and marketing strategies, ensuring all efforts adhere to brand and corporate identity guidelines.
• Manage and support corporate and programme-led events, as well as departmental marketing campaigns.
• Develop and manage key MSCS collaterals and digital communication platforms, including the website and social media channels, to drive meaningful content production and social media engagement (e.g., campaigns using Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Oversee internal communication platforms such as newsletters and emails.
• Develop PR materials, including press releases, media pitches, and public education content, while maintaining strong media relations.
• Stay updated on best practices in the media and publishing industry to refresh and optimise media and publication processes as needed.
• Serve as a Brand Custodian, maintaining a favourable public image of MSCS by effectively communicating our programmes, achievements, and perspectives.

2. Development

In support of the Manager, the Executive will:

• Identify and cultivate potential new partnerships to advance the organisation’s mission and achieve individual fundraising targets, contributing to the overall fundraising goals of Morning Star.
• Build and maintain close working relationships with corporate stakeholders, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
• Implement fundraising initiatives across all marketing channels.
• Coordinate the development of fundraising materials and collaterals.
• Manage all fundraising-related mailings, including direct mail and donor updates, to reinforce the organisation’s mission.
• Maintain and update donor records in the central database.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree, preferably in Mass Communications or Marketing Communications.
• Highly organised, process-focused aptitude, with strong management to follow-up on assigned tasks within the stipulated timelines for successful completion.
• Self-motivated and positive, able to work independently.
• Good presentation and writing skills.
• Resourceful and self-driven with high degree of professional integrity & initiative.
• Independent as well as a good team player.

In this position, your duties as F&B Executive are :

- Assist in opening, operating, and closing of shifts

- Food preparation including baking

- Duty roster planning, handle staff/customer complaints or issues.

- Cashiering including POS Closing

- Cleaning duties (counter, kitchen, dining hall, outdoor, toilet touch up).

- Equipment maintenance

- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.

- Ensure compliance with operational standards and policies.

- Stock taking and Ordering

- Stock taking, WISR trouble-shooting and Ordering

- Coins and notes exchange from bank

- Schedule and Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling and planning.

- 3PD deliveries investigation and follow up

1. Identify and target new business opportunities within the security services sector (e.g., corporate clients, commercial properties, residential estates, government agencies).

2. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and customer loyalty

3. Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential business opportunities.

4. Develop and implement strategies to approach potential clients and close new business deals.

5. Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and service agreements tailored to client needs.

6. Work closely with operational teams to ensure that security services are delivered as promised, meeting quality and compliance standards.

Job Description

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, recording and posting of incoming invoices from operations
• To assist warehouse in stock and its transection
• To account for inventory discrepancies with respect to monthly reports
• To troubleshoot inaccurate stock transaction(s)
• To monitor slow and obsolete stock(s)
• To close inventory during month-end, prepare monthly inventory and ageing report
• To ensure all documentation and procedure are followed in accordance to inventory SOP and procedures are reviewed yearly
• To conduct random inventory checks and half yearly stock take
• Provide support and guidance to Warehouse Personal and Operation for system and operation issues
• To perform other duties when assigned

Requirements

• Degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance or related educational qualification
• Proficient in MS Excel and SAP System
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work

A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently

Plan, execute and manage all digital marketing channels with innovative ideas (e.g., company websites, social media, etc.) to ensure brand consistency.

• Regularly generate, edit, publish and update company websites, social media posts, stories, and other sharable content
• Creating and copywriting advertising assets in the form of copy, video and images
• Manage and improve online content and track SEO efforts.
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing and be open to experimenting with new channels.
• Any ad hoc tasks as assigned

• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for safe, efficient transportation and delivery of customer catering orders and practice safe food handling procedures at all times
• To adhere to assigned schedule while delivering orders in a safe and timely manner
• Loads and unloads equipment and food on and off of catering vans
• Checks catering order sheets while loading catering van to ensure all equipment, food and supplies being sent are correct
• To conduct a trip inspection of delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order and coolers are holding temperatures
• Report any safety issues and/or temperature holding concerns to supervisor to resolve any issues before proceeding to use the vehicle
• Maintain equipment sanitation including but not limited to: vehicles, holding boxes/bags, beverage dispensers, etc
• To ensure compliance to local legislation and industry standard of food safety system, in-house Food Safety Management System
• To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Must have Class 3 driving license
• Able to work on weekends & public holidays
• Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
