Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (in Psychology / Social Sciences / Mathematics / Statistics / Business / Engineering / numerical fields)
• Strong interest in market research and willing to learn
• Versatile individual with a keen interest to pick up complimentary research skillsets
• Able to work with ambiguity and perform under pressure
• Strong quantitative and data analytical skills required
• Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal

• To fully understand the structure of each deal & items stating in the checklist prior preparing the reconciliation template;
• Close follow up with Line Manager to ensure checklist is drawn up for each agreement prior the deal commences, making sure the checklist is updated whenever there’s changes to the deal;
• Setup contract details in system together with billing instructions to facilitate correct invoicing to customers;
• Update customers on the monthly slot charges with bunker update & ensure correct fixed slot invoices issued promptly to customers;
• Extraction of customers loading information – to scrutinize the report & probe agents for clarification on any data discrepancies, also follow up to ensure system gets updated with correct records;
• Submit reconciliation statement to customers on their slot usage against their slot commitment, it has to be drawn up accurately & submit within stipulated timeframe;
• Follow up with customer for the statement confirmation & ensure accurate & timely issuance of invoices;
• Handle queries raised by customers & resolve the disputes independently.

Job Responsibilities

Supervision and Team Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Provide guidance, support, and supervision to accounting staff.
• Leading and motivating the accounting team in order to achieve the set OKR and KPI

Financial Reporting:

Compliance and Regulations:

• Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure the company stays compliant..
• Ensure compliance with local government requirements and timely reporting to relevant regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultant on compliance matters.

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency in accounting processes.
• Implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures.
• Participate in system upgrades or implementations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Accounting qualifications.
