Responsibilities

• To assist in the overall management and technical operations of the Marine Fleet that includes the preparation, review and management of all technical documentation, vessel certificates, maintenance records, compliance records and etc.
• Providing the necessary administrative support and coordination for any vessel inspections, repairs and docking works.
• Assist in liaising with customers on technical and operational matters that inclusive of vessel performance etc.
• Attending to vessel docking, repairs and surveys when requires and carry out supervision on any contractors' repair / maintenance works on board the vessel.
• Monitoring the technical status of vessel in term of Class certificates and surveys and ensure that all statutory certificates, equipment certificates, etc, are properly maintained, documented and up to date.
• To identify and source for technical and operational supplies required for the vessel's need. Coordinate with the suppliers for timely delivery to the vessels.
• Monitoring and controlling of the vessels consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage.
• To keep track of the vessels LSA, FFA, cargo hoses registry, lifting gear registry and PPE of all shipboard personnel.
• Appointed as safety committee member to carry out ool-box meeting for the vessels and attend to vessel inspections.
• To work closely with the HSE team to ensure the smooth implementation and compliance of company's safety and quality standards.
• To assist in investigating any defects / failures occurred and reporting all vessel incidents, near misses to prevent and eliminate any potential incidents.
• To assist in maintaining crew records that inclusive of certifications, training, medical checks and coordinating in crew changes.
• To undertake any other technical related tasks and assignements as and when required.

• A team player and ability to work in a team enviornment with minimum supervision.
• Ability to Speak Bahasa Indonesia ( to communicate with crew from Indonesia)

• To coordinate with production / planner / QA with preparation Shipment Delivery Schedule and booking of transportation based on Sales Orders / Customers’ special request/ Goods inspection status (for both local and export deliveries).
• Responsible for all local and export operations which includes managing forwarding agents, shipping liners, haulage, custom clearance and import.
• To coordinate with warehouse personnel and forwarder for shipment booking and arrangement of containers.
• To liaise with customers on delivery schedules/ shipping arrangement requirements
• Knowledge in international logistic and requirement ensuring logistics operation is compliance with the trade regulation and procedure and to confirm all the shipment are smooth and in timely basis.
• Resolve problem concerning transportation, logistic system, import and export or custom issue.

We are seeking a driven and organised Account Assistant/Executive to join the team at Dovechem Packaging Pte Ltd, located in the West Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure the smooth running of the company's financial operations.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and other accounting transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparing stock inventories, conduct stock take on monthly basis, stock reconciliation
• Preparing tax computation for GST
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
• Providing administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry and filing
• Prepare audit schedules and fixed asset schedule
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any accounting-related queries or issues
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role
• Singaporean or Permanent resident Candiate
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Relevant accounting qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Attend to inquiries and review tender documents

- Source from various suppliers/ manufacturers to fulfil customer’s project requirement

- Support Outdoor Sales on preparation of quotations

- Liaise with manufacturers on documentation submission such as drawings & certificates

REQUIREMENTS:-

- Formal Electrical Engineering qualification (Diploma/ Certification)

- Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience

- Preferably with experience on Material Take Off in an M&E environment

- Electrical product knowledge
