SENIOR MANAGER, BUS TENDERING & COMMERCIAL
[What you will be working on]
You will oversee a team that will work closely and collaboratively with the various LTA divisions to prepare and evaluate the bus package tenders and other bus-related tenders. In the course of work, you will provide guidance and direction to the team who will also conduct marketing scanning to understand best practices on bus tendering in other countries as well as review processes and business requirements to improve the contracts. You will also work with officers who oversee the performance of the operators for the bus packages and bus-related contracts. In addition, there are opportunities for you to work with the relevant ministries to obtain the necessary approvals to facilitate the calling and award of the tenders. As a Senior Manager, you will also be expected to cover the duties of the Deputy Director during her absence.
[What we are looking for]
• Tertiary qualification in any discipline
• At least 10 years of working experience, with at least 8 years in policy making, project
management and/or tender preparation and evaluation is preferred
• Experience in leading team and projects will be an advantage
• Meticulous, able to work on multiple projects and manage time effectively under tight deadlines
• Strong writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player who is independent, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-pace environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
