We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead our HR operations and provide strategic support to our product development team as an HR subject matter expert.
Position Overview
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. Beyond traditional HR responsibilities, this role will also collaborate with the product development team to ensure our products effectively address HR-related features for corporate clients, such as employee benefits and claims management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core HR Operations
- Oversee recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent across Singapore and Vietnam.
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
- Lead performance management and employee development initiatives, creating career growth opportunities for team members.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with market standards.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement programs and well-being initiatives.
2. HR Subject Matter Expertise for Product Development
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights on HR processes, trends, and best practices for designing and enhancing product features.
- Act as the internal expert on corporate HR workflows, ensuring that the Raffles Connect App meets the needs of HR teams managing employee medical benefits and claims.
- Conduct research and provide input on features related to employee healthcare, benefits, and HR analytics.
- Work closely with corporate clients to gather feedback on HR-related product features and translate this into actionable product requirements.
3. Cross-Border HR Management
- Support the core software development team in Vietnam, ensuring consistency in HR policies and practices across regions.
- Act as a liaison between the Singapore and Vietnam offices, fostering a unified company culture.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnam labour laws and regulations, in collaboration with local HR partners or consultants.
4. Talent Development and Retention
- Design and implement learning and development programs to upskill employees and prepare them for future roles.
- Develop strategies to enhance employee retention, leveraging feedback and engagement surveys to drive improvements.
- Partner with team leads to identify high-potential talent and create personalized development plans.
5. HR Data and Analytics
- Track and analyse HR metrics such as turnover rates, engagement scores, and recruitment efficiency to inform decision-making.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on HR trends and areas for improvement.
- Leverage HR technology solutions to streamline processes and improve employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HR roles, including recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Experience working with product development teams or as an HR consultant to technology organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of corporate HR workflows, including employee benefits and claims management.
- Proven track record of managing HR operations across multiple countries, particularly in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
- Analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics to drive improvements.
- Familiarity with HR technology and systems to support operational efficiency.
