Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level helpdesk and end-user support.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure and connectivity (patch panels, UPS, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.).
- Administer physical and virtual servers, including patching and updates.
- Manage user accounts (Active Directory, LDAP) and troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues.
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements as needed and oversee backup operations.
- Maintain documentation and create relevant support reports.
- Support application rollouts and maintain software license records.
- Manage IT assets, inventory, and supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance.
- Test and evaluate new technologies.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in end-user IT support or a computer operations environment.
- Proficiency in installation, configuration, migration, and maintenance of servers, PCs, OS, and software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11 and experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2021.
- Experience with Active Directory, email accounts, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Veritas Backup Exec.
- Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VLAN) and advanced printer/peripheral troubleshooting.
- Interest in learning new technologies; cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
