We are looking for a submarine Technical Program Manager with proven experience, strong sense of ownership and passion for defining and driving large cross-functional programs in the infrastructure and networking space. The candidate should be self-driven, have the ability to learn quickly and influence decision-making across organizations. In this position, you will work closely with various Amazon business units to gather, refine and drive program goals to deliver submarine cable projects. You will have the opportunity to implement new processes and procedures driving continuous improvement while interacting with a broad range of stakeholders across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
In this position, the candidate will work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver submarine cable projects across the globe. The candidate should be able to represent and lead for Amazon in deployment and operational meetings, coordinate complex projects spanning a number of geographies and deliver the project to our high standards. They should have a deep knowledge of how to construct fiber based networks that span long haul fiber and colocation including the selection and deployment of optical equipment interfacing with submarine cables. Finally, the candidate should be able to ensure that the delivered network is handed over with a suitably validated operational model appropriate to the specific deployment and location.
