Core purpose of the role: This position will play a pivotal role in the operations team for all HR related matters. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of HR from recruitment, onboarding/ off boarding processes, claims, training and development, as well as staff engagement and welfare of the employees.

Job scopes:

Recruitment and On-boarding

• Determine and use the appropriate sourcing channel (including Jobs Bank, LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment agencies and internal applications)

Performance Management

Pay Review

• Support the annual pay review process
• Creation of excel spreadsheets for management input and analytics to update data on performance excel spreadsheets
• Participate in C&B surveys and benchmark with various key companies in similar industry

Employee Relations

• Support to business leaders in all employee relations matters
• Provide HR policies guidance and interpretation to employees
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues and counsel staff

Offboarding

• Coordinate exit process: payroll, employee records, exit interviews

Payroll & Benefits Administration

• Manage and execute regular benefits administrations
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of CPF, government-claim submissions (Maternity, Paternity, Childcare and NS claims), income tax (IR8A and IR21) matters
• Maintain accuracy and update movements in company insurance policy

Employee Engagement

• Plan and execute internal employee engagement activities such as dialogues, and corporate staff engagement events.

Learning & Development

• Conduct training needs analysis for business units and employees.
• Source for external vendors, coordinate course registration and training grant applications
• Evaluate and monitor training programs and budgets

Ad Hoc Projects

Job Description:

We are looking for a self-motivated Finance and HR Executive. You have the chance to be one of our core team to implement systems and procedures to corportise our business

Our business includes a retail segment with 2 retail chains selling fast moving consumer goods and religious products, a property rental segment and a direct selling segment.

Responsibilities:

Accounting, General Admin Functions

• Responsible for the full set accounts and day-to-day accounting.
• Perform bookkeeping general ledger, AP, cash management, and bank reconciliation
• Ensure all accounting records are kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately
• Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns
• Process payments to suppliers
• Liaise with the external auditor and tax agents
• Report to the Directors and handle ad-hoc assignments

HR Functions:

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR function
• Responsible in payroll process, claims expenses, and other related matters
• Manage recruitment cycle including sourcing, arrange for interview, and salary proposal
• Process Work pass application, renewable and cancellation
• Coordinate with insurance agents with regards to cancellation, renewal, new coverage of insurances

Requirements:

• ACCA/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Possess knowledge in GST, Local Tax Regulations, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
• Self -motivated. well organized, meticulous, and able to multi-task
• Ability to converse and liaise with external vendors and suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Influence business unit leadership to make sound strategic decisions for business
• Provide key analysis of strategic concepts plus financial assumptions along with feasible recommendations
• Assisting the management operations, supporting administrative and clerical tasks, and coordinating with other departments for project support to meet the organization's objectives and profitability goals
• Assisted in developing policies and procedures to ensure greater control and accountability of all departmental functions
• Excellent communication, be organized, and have time-management skills to perform duties in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills and Competencies:

• Active participation in strategic planning process, including development and execution of business campaigns
• To develop negotiation and presentation skills to communicate effectively and clearly to others
• To understand of audience engagement and other business support functions
• To identify key stakeholder relationships, needs and interests, and coordinate with stakeholders on day-to-day basis
• To collate feedback on different media and understand and present the advantages and / or disadvantages of different communications media options
• To develop company business campaigns and enhance campaign awareness and campaign visibility

Responsibilities:

• Content planning and copywriting for social media platforms such as IG, Tiktok
• Develop creative marketing content
• Product photography
• Graphic design
• Keeping up with social media trends/functions
• Knowledge on video production
• Collaborate with influencers and other stakeholders to create video contents

Requirements:

• Familiar with social media platforms (e.g IG, Tiktok is a plus)
• Product photography
• Graphic design (Adobe PS/AI)
• Adobe Premiere Pro would be a plus
