As a Human Factor Ergonomics Specialist/Expert, you will be responsible for designing systems, products, and environments to improve human well-being and performance for an aviation project.
Responsibilities:
· Perform Needs Analysis
Ø Conduct As-Is process analysis in order to understand current work situation
Ø Analyse job and work organization
Ø Build the matrix of existing functional links between users
Ø Perform a need analysis review (equipment, information, communication, flow....)
Ø Ensure that HF goal are set early in the project and that goals are measurable (compliance matrix + risks associated)
· Console Technical Proposal Evaluation
Ø Analyze technical proposal of the consoles’ suppliers (functions adapted to the needs) and perform technical quotations (from ergonomics point of view)
Ø Contribute to suppliers reviews for specifying and adjusting the needs (trace correctives actions)
Ø Support in the selection the right consoles solution and ensure that consoles customization are adapted to the customer needs (tacking into account shadowing and survey done during the previous steps)
· Contribution to Consoles Design
Ø Study and analyze supplier’s proposals in terms of workstation layout( technical, operational, maintenance…) and ensure integration of HF aspectsContribute to suppliers reviews for specifying and adjusting the needs (trace correctives actions)
Ø Identify deviation from the initial needs and provide context on the future work activity to design a suitable solution and justify modification need (eg. Catia 3D support, Sketch-up, Rhino …)
Ø Provide Human Factors specifications (detailed)
Ø Study and analyze proposed solutions in terms of customization review (Control suite layout; workstation layout) using simulation ( 3D, 2D, …)
Ø Propose specific scenarios (in nominal and degraded situation) in relation to the future work situations. When necessary, develop a collaborative working method to address situations that are not adapted and therefore problematic (workshop, brainstorming…)
Ø Identify strengths and weaknesses from a HF perspective (evaluate impacts, risks/consequences…)
Ø Evaluation of the final solution
Ø Run usability testing
· Verification and Validation of final solution
Ø Define scenarios to assess the level of maturity of the complete solution.
Ø Provide HF protocol and all relevant material in order to test if the solution meets goals and works as it was intended
Ø Run evaluations sessions
Ø Provide analysis of the full reception and contribute to the acceptance test report (gap analysis)
Ø Monitor and valid the changes (co-construction with stakeholders)
