Overview of The Department

Commercial Rating and Underwriting (CRU) sits within the Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) division and forms the institutional credit risk management function within American Express. The CRU team plays the critical role of assessing and managing the risk of institutional exposures across all business units with American Express, and in all regions globally. Credit exposures are primarily generated through corporate and small business card programs, via merchant service relationships where non-delivery risk exists, and among the securities portfolio held for firm-wide liquidity. Job responsibilities

• Analyst will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for rating and underwriting credit exposures for the Japan market. Fluency in Japanese is a must as you will be required to read Japanese financial statements and also liaise with Japanese stakeholders in spoken Japanese.

What you’ll do

The Financial Reporting team strives to be Marketing's centre of excellence for efficient and effective Record to Report (RTR) processes while driving optimization on processes & implementing robust controls to capture accurate business and financial information in accordance and within the framework of accounting policies across all commodities in Marketing entities.

KEY TASKS

Drive efficient and effective Financial Reporting

Purpose of the Role

You will be a part of the Asian Investment Banking Division (“AIBD”) that sits in the front line, responsible for the promotion of Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) products and services in the Asia and Oceania region, covering both Global Corporates and Japanese Corporates. The Client Review and Investigations Unit (CRIU) Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for conducting case investigations and provide recommendation if the case warrants STR filing. Comply with the local requirements and Citi policies and procedures.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Conduct end to end case investigation including recommendation of STR filing as warranted.
• Preparation and filing of STR via SONAR and post STR activities including account management strategy.
• Utilize information from regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes to further identify new key risk areas.
• Escalate potential issues for any of the processes as soon as identified.
• May be involved in adhoc projects or adhoc tasks outside BAU as provided by the Team Lead
• Analyze comparative data, prepare and present reports related to AML risk assessments, and monitor AML related issues and escalation.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Experience and knowledge of AML regulations/laws (such as the Bank Secrecy Act, the US Patriot act, US Treasury AML guidelines, and OFAC requirements)
• Experience writing and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications

About the Role:

As a Senior Treasury Analyst at LMAX Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Treasury operations to minimize FX risk, maximize funding revenue, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for executing various tasks related to prime broker relationship management, settlements, and back-office operations, contributing to the smooth functioning of LMAX Global's Treasury department. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and other Treasury team members, to communicate and address swaps and funding matters effectively. • To beef up the supply chain financing solutions team with Business Analyst to work on projects and application support of Connexis Supply Chain (Front Office & Back Office Application) global releases.

• To work with Product Managers and Operation users from all the regions (APAC/EMEA/AMERICAS) on the requirements gathering, impact analysis and functional specifications for the enhancements and issues reported in production. CSC Business Analyst is also responsible to define the test scope of SIT, UAT, and NRT and validating test outcomes with the users and testers.
