About the role: Junior Application Support Analyst (on site)

This role is about problem solving.

Joining an award-winning application support team, you will work directly with our clients to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with complex trading strategies. Direct lines of communication with our software and infrastructure engineers to help you gain valuable experience and expertise.

You will work with the very latest in low latency trade execution technologies, maintaining Linux server and Windows client applications across our global distributed architecture in both proprietary private cloud and in public cloud environments.

This is a full-time technical role based in our Singapore Downtown office. Supporting our global client base and working as part of a global team, communication is key – both with clients and with colleagues across multiple teams and time zones.

You will be required to:

● Respond promptly to support requests and enquiries from clients.

● Actively monitor and respond to alerts for our critical systems and infrastructure, resolving issues wherever possible and escalating to other teams if necessary.

● Support customers and resolve issues related to order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity.

● Conduct analysis of complex order and trade histories.

About you

● Have a Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree.

● Experience with, or knowledge of, Linux OS and Linux-based server applications, using Linux command line tools such as grep, sed and awk.

● You will have strong analytical skills and be able to perform complex log file analysis, allowing you to identify the root cause of issues. You will take pride in identifying and implementing the best solution.

● Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, any experience with bash or perl scripting and any exposure to public cloud-based providers such as AWS may also benefit you in the role.

• Proven experience as an SAP Business Analyst, with expertise in SAP modules relevant to the organization (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW).
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into SAP solutions.
• Experience in SAP implementation, configuration, and support.
• SAP certification(s) is a plus.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Azure Data Factory Utilization:

• Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

Data Integration and Management:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of data sources, structures, and business rules.
• Facilitate the integration of diverse data sets, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

Documentation:

• Create detailed documentation of business requirements, data models, and technical specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, data engineers, and other technical teams.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure successful project outcomes.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct testing and validation of data solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in data processing.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment, with a focus on data and analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory is essential.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Azure or business analysis are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update data used in marketing material
• Prepare pitching material for potential clients, undertaking relevant analysis, identifying relevant comps
• Assist in developing market updates and indicative pricing to prospective issuers
• Assist in transaction execution and taking a lead role in certain aspects thereof
• Liaise with other desks within the bank to furnish the ad-hoc internal works
• Other ad-hoc projects and works as required by the manager

Requirements

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or any other related discipline
• Prior experience in banking/finance industry is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Internships at financial institutions are plus points
• Good communication and analytical skills

As a Credit Analyst, this person will play a crucial role in analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating credit risks associated with the bank's lending activities. Responsibilities:

• In depth understanding about accounting principles and financial analysis skill
