Experience and Skills Needed

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related fields.
• Participation in at least one full software/product development cycle, preferably using Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning, design, and testing.
• Strong understanding of customer/user experience, design thinking, service journey mapping, and digital product lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud-based technology, enterprise architecture, and modernizing legacy systems.
• Familiarity with the SG Tech Stack or equivalent technologies.
• Experience in collaborative environments with co-sourced or outsourced teams.

The company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fuel Oil Trading Analyst to join their team. This role is critical to supporting trading operations by providing market analysis, performance insights, and strategic recommendations that drive decision-making in the competitive energy trading market.

Responsibilities:

• Providing analytical support to monitor trade exposures
• Compiling daily profitability reports, market analysis (e.g. data providers/news agencies/analysts and traders in the industry)
• Work with spreadsheets and maintain a report structure to monitor and follow-up on buy and sell opportunities
• Monitor trading portfolio risk in compliance with regulations and practices
• Interpret data e.g. P&L, Value at risk and risk exposure then analysis results using statistical techniques
• Publish daily and monthly risk reports for mgmt. and planning dept
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trading, Economic or any related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in fuel oil trading, market analysis, or a related role within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of Fuel Oil markets, including pricing methodology, premiums, supply, and demand dynamics etc.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and data analysis tools.
