This is an operations role, the candidate is expected to be working on shift hours.

Salary Range : $7,000-$9,000
The Hypervisor, Storage, and Backup Lead is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the client’s virtual infrastructure, storage systems, and data backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hypervisor Management:
a. Design, implement, and maintain virtual infrastructure using hypervisor technologies such as VMware or Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM).
b. Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance, resource allocation, and utilization.
c. Ensure high availability and reliability of the virtual infrastructure through proactive maintenance and monitoring.
d. Manage and resolve incidents and problems related to the virtual environment.
2. Storage Management:
a. Oversee the administration of storage systems, such as SAN and NAS.
b. Perform regular storage health/utilization checks and recommend optimization.
c. Ensure sufficient capacity for application/infrastructure needs across storage systems.
d. Manage and resolve incidents and problems related to the storage systems.
3. Backup Management:
a. Manage backup solution for client’s environment.
b. Monitor backup schedules, ensuring successful completion and addressing any failures.
c. Ensure compliance with data retention policies and regulations.
d. Manage and resolve incidents and problems related to the backup solution.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
a. Maintain documentation of virtual environments, storage configurations, and backup procedures.
b. Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity planning, and backup status.
c. Prepare Root Cause Analysis report for high severity incidents.
d. Escalate to vendor when necessary for incident resolution.
Our key requirement is the candidate had prior experience to operate (not limited to managing team/solution architect) at minimum the following:
1. Hypervisor – VMware & Oracle VM
2. Storage – HPE Storage (3Par) and SAN Switches
3. Backup – Veritas NetBackup
