Job Responsibilities:

Manage the business requirements and functional solution aspects of the project.

• Create and manage automated test framework whenever possible, such as prepare test environment, maintain functional testing script in accordance with changing requirements.
• Conduct system integration tests with external parties, validate the output and expected outcome e.g. data to and from external parties’ systems and feedback on improvement requirement.
• Conduct impact analysis of defect fixes discovered during manual or automated tests, validate completed stories pass the acceptance criteria, raising defects as needed and work with development team to improve the expected behaviour and test cases.
• Manage conflicts, issues and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team remain in agreement on solution scope, communicate and manage expectations of stakeholders.
• Prepare end user documentation (training manual, user manual, business process flows) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems.
• Assists with the documentation of technical design, specification, and technical solution.
• Maintains document repositories used by project teams and assists with project documentation as needed.

Requirements:

Business Analysis certification (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®), Certified Business Analysis
Professional™ (CBAP®)) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.

• Good understanding on OLTP, Data Lake, Lakehouse technologies that may include knowledge of Snowflake, S3, AWS Glue, DeltaLake, DataBricks.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, DataOps, and their applicability in financial services.
• Experience in working with databases using database technologies (e.g. MS SQL, Snowflake, Redshift and PostgreSQL) and data integration products (e.g. Informatica, Data Factory, Bash).
• Extensive data-related experience in programming languages eg Python, SQL, Scala, Javascript, and similar.
• Experience in working with business intelligence and data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with data analysts and business end-users to implement and support data platforms using best-of-breed technology and methodology.
• Implement and design robust and scalable solutions to meet business needs and take operational considerations into account. Demonstrate technical expertise in the assigned areas.
• Manage operations and maintain SLAs. Implement automation in data management. Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and governance.
• Perform data and metadata quality, modeling, lineage, cleansing, onboarding, registration, discoverability, access controls, migration, optimization, and cataloging. Execute, maintain and manage the whole data lifecycle.

Corporate Treasury Operations is a sub division of the Operations Division. Primary objectives are to: lead the development of new payments-centric businesses, while building scale and improving agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape; act as a first line of defense for control and governance to protect firms financial assets; and incorporate differentiated client service to be best in class.

The sub division has a rare opportunity to support products and businesses ranging across existing and new business lines, multiple payment types, and multiple client types, including institutional/franchise, consumer and corporate cash management sectors. We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around cash management (payment controls, bank account management, settlements and reconciliations, claims), change management, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize operational flows for our client sectors
• Actively assist to develop an overall payments strategy as the industry evolves alongside our business needs. The ideal individual will assist the management team to build our next generation capabilities in the payments space
• Front line interaction with a network of key vendors across cash agent banks as well as central banks.
• Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the firm’s books and records.
• Manage our daily cash payments and receipts for a particular portfolio.
• Work with internal business units to resolve cash settlement exceptions / issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in financial services
• Good organization and multi-tasking skills, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the attention to details
• Solid, detailed understanding of cash payments infrastructure such as SWIFT messages and various local clearing systems in Asia markets.
• Knowledge in the payments control functions such as sanction screening/fraud detection/AML preferred
• Leveraging this payment knowledge, to work closely with our technology and project team to assist with payment system design and re-write
• Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
• Committed, driven and self-motivated individual who constantly aim to improve the processes and enhance controls.
• Effective team-player with ability to impact and influence across organization and levels
