Role:

This position will provide management and strategic direction regarding trade compliance and freight. The Logistics Manager will lead cross functional teams responsible for establishing the most cost effective, timely and secure movement of goods in all modes of transport (ocean, land, and air) and may also procure and oversee third party logistics partnerships. The senior accountant manages the full accounting functions of our newly established manufacturing operations. The individual in this role will hold an ACCA qualification and must have 4 years of experience in cost accounting within the high-mix, low-volume manufacturing sector. This role will involve managing financial records, preparing reports, analysing manufacturing cost variances, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, particularly those applicable in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities:

Full Account Management:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for manufacturing operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all financial reports and statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans and projections.

Compliance and Audit:

Taxation:

• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and external tax advisors as needed.

Skills and Experiences:
