Job Purpose

The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. Sales

The ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) Analyst is responsible for operating and maintaining ICP-MS equipment to conduct analytical testing and ensure the accurate and precise analysis of samples for a variety of applications, including environmental, pharmaceutical, food safety, and industrial sectors. This role involves sample preparation, data analysis, calibration, troubleshooting, and reporting results. The ICP-MS Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality testing and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Method preparation for Semiconductor trace metal analysis to ppb level
• Operate and maintain the ICP-MS instrument, ensuring it is calibrated, cleaned, and functioning properly.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Prepare and calibrate the ICP-MS system for different sample types and analyz results with high precision.
