As the Operations Director, you will oversee all facets of the restaurant's operations, ensuring that it maintains high standards of quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency. This role demands an individual with in-depth knowledge of Sichuan cuisine, hospitality, and business management. You will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing business plans to achieve revenue targets while ensuring an exceptional dining experience. In additional to managing operations, the successful candidate must have a vested interest in the restaurants growth and success. This role requires an investment in the business and includes a shareholder position, creating an opportunity for you to play a key role in shaping the future of the restaurant as a co-owner.

1. Operations Management:

- Lead day-to-day operations, including food quality control, customer service, and inventory management.

- Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure optimal service standards and operational efficiency.

- Implement and oversee health, safety, and hygiene regulations in accordance with Singaporean standards.

2. Team Leadership & Development:

- Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, including kitchen and front-of-house teams.

- Foster a positive work culture, encouraging high morale and teamwork.

3. Financial Oversight:

Requirements

Experience:

- Proven experience (5+ years) in an operational leadership role, preferably in the F&B sector, with an emphasis on Sichuan or Chinese cuisine.

- Track record of managing a high-end dining establishment in Singapore or a similar multicultural environment.

We are looking to hire a Scrum Master / Product Owner to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank.

Responsibilities:

• Define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals for front-office Equities technology.
• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Engage with front-office traders, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage the product backlog to ensure development readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency within agile teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks related to equities application development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Product Manager, with specific experience in Equities applications within an investment banking front-office environment.
• Strong knowledge of equities trading workflows and front-office technology systems.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Equities applications, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, FIX protocol, messaging systems (e.g., Solace), and data analytics platforms.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.
