Job Description & Requirements

• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget

Role Overview

• Reports To: Project Manager
• Objective: Collaborate with Application and Infrastructure Teams to set up and configure infrastructure and applications in the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infrastructure setup and support application infrastructure requirements.
• Work with the application team to set up, migrate, and test applications from VMs to OCP.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) Development & Architecture.
• Knowledge of Linux OS & MariaDB.
• Experience in Java Development, Shell Scripting, and DevOps.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with 3 years in a relevant field.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends.

• Undertake design and analysis of civil works including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. for infrastructure and building projects, and be able to deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Carry out design calculations and produce sketch drawings, prepare tender documents, and develop client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Business Development. This includes bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs, and signoff as required.
• Write, consolidate, and review technical reports of infrastructure projects and studies.
• Prepare detailed design reports and presentation to clients.
• Lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup, act as a technical expert to mentor other engineers within the team, while supervising and coordinating to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Possess initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise during design and construction stages.
• Assist in business development activities and be responsible for the maintenance of the client plan and positive client relationships.

• Proven proficiency and experience in civil works design and analysis for infrastructure and building projects in Singapore and overseas.
• Energetic, proactive, and reliable team player with proven project coordination and management skills.
• Excellent communicator with well-developed commercial, analytical, and technical skills, and ability to lead junior staff members.
