Responsibilities

• Design and project management of mechanical/electrical engineering systems (MVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary, etc) for building projects in the various sectors such as residential, office, commercial, hospital, institutional, etc.
• Engineer shall be expected to carry out design work, attendance at consultants’ meetings and management of the relevant M&E aspects of the construction activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder in mechanical/electrical engineering
• At least 2 years of experience under consultancy culture

· Manage the document review process, including collating comments from all reviewing parties and ensuring proper follow-up to the review comments;

· Manage and coordinate the design, installation, testing and commissioning activity, including coordination with all stakeholders (contractors, site owners, end users);

· Liaise with the contractors and stakeholders to monitor and update the programme and work schedule;

· Relevant project management or project experience in the area of Automatic Fare Collection system in Singapore transit environment will be a plus;

· Be expected to travel regularly between office and sites.

Job Description:

• Been through at least one full Software Development Lifecycle;
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, object-oriented software design and UML modelling;
• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Windows and/or Embedded (e.g. QNX, Vxworks, Linux, Java etc) platforms;
• Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial communication;
• Familiar with secure coding;
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in object-oriented software development;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; and Self-motivated and a good team player.
• Added advantage if candidate is familiar with one or more of the following technologies:
