Position Summary
Automation Associate Engineer is responsible for performing periodic maintenance activities, recovery and troubleshooting of daily machines troubles. Provide assistance to Engineers on machine improvements and spare parts management, updating/revising of work related Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out equipment periodic maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance procedure and safety requirement.
· Assist Engineer on machine improvement and parts testing.
· Maintaining/updating SOP, work procedure and training material or report writing.
· Carry out firsthand repair and troubleshoot on machine breakdown to maximized equipment uptime
· Assist in spare parts inventory.
· Actively involve in TPM, perform routine equipment patrol check or inspection on automation system.
· Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary.
· Carry out repairs or overhaul of parts for automation.
· Assist in identifying equipment failures, root cause analysis and recommending solution to technical issues.
Requirement
· Diploma in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic) or its equivalent
· At least 1 year of experience in AMHS
· Experience in Automated Manufacturing Environment will be an added advantage
· Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) will be an added advantage
· Experience in Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) will be an added advantage
