Power Systems is a global function that designs and develops Dyson’s internal technologies that enable most of our products. Engineering Analysis team within Power Systems is responsible for the performance, simulation, analysis, and experimental verification of the technology project. About the role

We are looking for a Aerodynamics Engineer to work within our Engineering Analysis function inside Power Systems, to apply her/his skills and experience in Fluid Dynamics/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to deliver our next generation Dyson internally developed technologies and their product integration. He/she will also use analytical techniques to add insight into experimental results, driving early development concepts, supporting projects with appropriate technology readiness and advancement. In addition, the candidate will be expected to continually improve and develop new techniques and methodologies, to build the capability of Power Systems group and Dyson as a whole. Some of your tasks could include:

• Generate innovative concepts for new technologies using analytical techniques including CFD and experiments.

About you

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent (other relevant engineering disciplines will be considered) (Doctorate would be an advantage).
