The Service Engineer is responsible for providing ocean going vessels with on-site and remote technical assistance regarding water and chemical treatment asset protection program adherence, energy management programs, cleaning solutions, welding, refrigeration and sealing products and installation services and repair of equipment. The Service Engineer will investigate and approve operational quality of onboard programs, processes and system equipment and instruct vessel crew in the operation and maintenance of the programs and systems. Job Specification

• Bachelor’s / diploma in Mechanical or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Rig Construction & Shipyard experience
• Must possess MWSHSSR (Manage Workplace Safety and Health Ship building and Ship Repair)
• Must possess experience of working & managing Jack up rig upgradation / repair assignments in shipyard environment
• Excellent English command, including writing, speaking and active listening

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our in-house production team in Singapore and globally, and ensuring our products operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of TIG automatic cladding machines, manual welding machines (E.g. Fronius Brand)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair automatic and manual welding machines and/or CNC Machining
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Resolve production technical concerns and requirements.
• Provide in-house training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Create and maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
• Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to support product development and improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to provide proactive support and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role in the O&G industry
