Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Cloud and Trading Infrastructure Engineer. The role is a team lead position and will be responsible for cloud operations and providing trading floor support.

In this role, you will:

• Supporting cloud operations and migrations, including monitoring system performance and troubleshoot issues, implement automated monitoring and alerting systems, manage and optimize cloud environments for high availability and disaster recovery, and also assess existing infrastructure and identify suitable cloud services
• Provides trading floor support to Traders, Portfolio Managers and Analysts
• Provides feedback on potential issues or concerns to mitigate risks in the future required skills
• Structure and functionality of it networks and the components (basic) and Layer 1.
• Analyzes and uses vendor specifications and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex systems software and/or hardware problems, resolves issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements.
• Leads efforts to maintain, restore or improve service and determines when vendor maintenance support is needed.
• Participates in projects and/or coordinates small projects associated with implementation of upgrades, installations, modifications, customizations and/or testing, completes moderately complex programming and testing tasks.
• Updates and completes documentation, procedures and user guides.
• Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported area and analyzes additions and changes for risk to the environment.
• Participates in testing and updating the business continuation plan.
• Provides End to end technology support and related project support.
• Provides desktop support services for both software and hardware for the organization.
• Identifies and develops methods, techniques, diagnostic tools or criteria to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve moderately complex desktop and desktop related hardware, software, operating systems, application and network problems
• Analyzes client needs and assesses technical alternatives to determine their impact on the client and systems environment.
• Coordinates the planning, installation and implementation of new or modified PC/LAN related hardware, software, applications or operating systems to meet client s requirements and updates/writes documentation.
• Participates in the implementation of voice and data communication networks to support environment, including configuring, implementing and troubleshooting circuits.
• Coordinates testing and updating the business continuation plan.
• Participate and collaborate as an I.T Infrastructure resource for all Technology Initiatives in APAC region
• Provide guidance and training to customers on current technology and it policies
• Promote self-help through the use of knowledge base and technology specific portals

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Working knowledge with Azure and GCP cloud operations and migrations, and serverless computing (Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions)

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in providing technical support for all trading operating systems and adapt to the dynamic & fast paced trading floor.
• Experience with the administration of voice recording applications, turrets, Trader desktops, laptops which are used in the trading floors in the banking/financial services’ industry.
• Experience with an established Incident & Problem Management process & tools.
• Demonstrate you have conducted audit activities for supported production environments.
• Technical skills: Microsoft office products, Microsoft operating system (currently windows 10), hardware and provisioning for Trader Desktops/Laptops, Phone systems , turrets and Mobiles ( Android and IOS )
• Microsoft active directory functioning
• ITIL framework or process knowhow
• Good Information security knowledge and usage of ticketing tools
• Installation/troubleshooting knowledge of trading, Platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters) (basic trading apps)
• Strong communication (verbal/written) skills to professionally frame & articulate questions & answers with business stakeholders, technology staff & vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Level 2 systems administration tasks including system monitoring, management, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Assist with the management of on-premises and cloud infrastructure across Microsoft, AIX, virtual environments (VMware or Hyper-V), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Microsoft 365 cloud services such as Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Contribute to the design, setup, configuration, implementation, and deployment of new servers and Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
• Plan and manage IT resources for tasks and projects, including budgeting and capacity planning.
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to systems administration for on-premise systems, AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365 cloud environments.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patches, and incident resolution outside of regular working hours as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in system support and server administration, including the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure, with a solid understanding of cloud technologies like Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Practical experience in implementing and configuring Azure and AWS cloud services, including virtual machines, application services, load balancers, SQL Managed Instance, site-to-site VPNs, storage solutions, networking, security, logging, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in administering on-premises Windows Server environments, as well as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 cloud technologies, such as Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune.
• Familiarity with AIX/Unix and IBM products (e.g., IBM WebSphere MQ, WebSphere, Tivoli Storage Manager Backup) is a plus.
• Certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, or AWS technologies, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, or AWS SysOps Administrator, are considered an advantage.

• Expertise in enterprise networking, including implementation and support of WAN, LAN, and VPN optimization
• Proficient in managing Microsoft Server 2012 and newer versions, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite products/services
• Knowledgeable in internet architecture, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy, and Firewall configurations
• Familiar with devices such as Alcatel PABX, FortiGate, Cisco, and Unifi Wireless AP Controllers
• Strong understanding of CyberRisk and CyberSecurity; experience with PDPA is highly desirable
• Experience with Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux is advantageous
• Additional skills in API/web programming and database administration are a plus
