General Overview

This position is part of the site Mechanical team that provides technical/maintenance support to the Operation and Project teams in LNG Terminal. He/she would be mainly responsible for overseeing the safe and reliable operations and maintenance of the Terminal assets from the Mechanical discipline perspective.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

• Provide technical/maintenance support and solutions to the terminal operation Teams including supporting the development of maintenance strategy focusing on equipment reliability, compliance, spares inventory requirement, preventive and predictive maintenance programmes and mechanical maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment.
• Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and replacement of mechanical static equipment and piping systems.

• Responsible to ensure compliance to applicable regulations/industry best practices, safe to operate, fit for purpose, maintainable and reliable for the site’s modified or newly build mechanical systems (such as marine loading arm, pumps, pressure vessel, safety device , etc).
• Manage and ensure list of statutory equipment (lifting machine, lifting gears, pressure vessel, safety valves, etc) are timely serviced and inspected in accordance to statutory codes and compliance standards
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failure and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues which may also arise from vibration, RT, UT, oil and other analysis as part of predictive maintenance programmes
• Manage and maintain historical information on static and rotating equipment such as running hours, data statistical information on all plant shut down and loss of production events caused by mechanical systems, engineering documents and review applicable codes and standards for compliance purpose
• Lead technical discussions, execute and manage project schedules and cost and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders, vendors for end of life and improvement project using SLNG Management of Change (MOC) process for mechanical equipment
• Liaise with external stakeholder including government agencies on approval and risk of shutdown of mechanical system that will affect gas-send out
• Participate in RCA, RBI, HAZID, HAZOP, Model Review studies for mechanical packages, co-ordinates and close out Mechanical related issues
• Participate in emergency response and may be assigned to a specific role and responsibility for such purpose

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance of plant equipment, rotating machinery and static equipment, preferably in oil/petrochemical or related industries
• Good knowledge and experience working on different types of in-service pipeline inspection. Knowledge of the LNG / natural gas or other hydrocarbon industries an advantage
• Relevant technical experience in maintenance of mechanical/ machinery systems i.e compressor, pump, pressure vessel, hydraulic components and piping system.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, coordination and supervision of ACMV system. Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparing and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and plans
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals
• Planning, directing, and managing the site workforce and subcontractors
• Ensuring that all building procedures and materials comply with building codes, regulations, and standards
• Carrying out surveys and assessing the suitability of construction sites
• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, plans, materials, and the final product
• Inspecting and reviewing projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
• Assessing potential risks and drafting mitigation plans
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Ordering and managing resources and materials to meet project deadlines
• Preparing reports regarding job status and progress to stakeholders

Your role is focused on protecting data and preventing disruptions caused by digital attacks through the review, implementation, monitoring and upgrading of security measures with a focus on networking infrastructure. You will also respond to security breaches, test system vulnerabilities and provide Management with system reporting.

This role is suitable for those in the field of IT infrastructure maintaining networks and servers and with exposure to cybersecurity; and looking for a switch to the field of cybersecurity. There is a strong opportunity for learning and growth for the right candidate.

• Networking. Familiarity with networking is a must. This involves implementing and maintaining (with vendor support) all networking equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi and so on. May involve mapping and re-architecting the network to further improve security.
• Server Administration. Operational familiarity with hypervisors (eg: Hyper-V) as well as administrative experience with Windows and Linux servers and Active Directory (Entra ID) is a must.
• Cloud. Familiarity with Azure cloud or other hyperscalers is a strong plus. To apply infrastructure security concepts and adapt them to the cloud domain.
• .Provide assessment and review on solutions and proposals related to IT security and IT networking including cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Lead and manage the development and implementation of cybersecurity infrastructure strategies, policies, procedures, documentation and guidelines.
• Liaise and coordinate with other internal teams and vendors on matters pertaining to infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Scan for industry best practices and technologies on cybersecurity.

Requirements:-

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science / Information Science / Network Technology / Cyber & Digital Security / Engineering / Infocomm Security or any other related fields
• At least 8 years of experience in the domain of IT infrastructure with a focus on networking and cybersecurity combined
• Ability to demonstrate a capability for continuous learning such as through the acquisition of CISSP, CISA, CISM or related certification.
• Technical knowledge of tools and techniques, with a particular emphasis on networking and servers.
• Conversant with security-related technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
