About Antina

Founded in 2020, Antina is a JV between Starhub Mobile and M1 and is responsible for the rolling out of the 5G Standalone (SA) Radio Access Network (RAN) in Singapore for the two mobile network operators.
The Standalone 5G (SA) RAN is a game-changing ultra-high speed, low-latency network, and one which will enable new use cases across entertainment, cloud gaming, transportation, education and healthcare. 5G is used across three main types of connected services, including enhanced mobile broadband, mission-critical communications, and the massive IoT.

Non-standalone 5G (NSA) was the first stage of 5G, using a new 5G radio (or 5G NR) access network overlaid on an existing 4G LTE network core. Standalone (SA) 5G uses the 5G NR access network on a brand new 5G network core. Both approaches provide value, but many of the most exciting new features and innovative use cases of 5G can only be realized through a standalone 5G network.

Purpose

The primary role of our Operations Engineer is to monitor and maintain 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems to ensure operational efficiency and continuity for the company’s business.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Carry out 24 x 7 daily monitoring of the 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems’ faults and alarms.
2. Issue trouble tickets and tracked the fault resolution to ensure that any fault raised is responded to and resolved within the agreed SLA.

11. Interface with vendors and contractors on all operational and project support activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. New graduate with NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Telecommunication or related qualification or possess at least two years of related working experience.

Technical Skills:

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to work on a project basis, with a strong focus on Windows Server, VMware, backup solutions (e.g. Veeam, Acronis), and NAS storage systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Microsoft technologies including Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365), SCCM, SCOM, DHCP, DNS/WINS, Group Policy and OS hardening. An additional advantage is having experience with SAN storage. Microsoft Active Directory deployments, and configure failover clustering as part of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Implementation & Deployment: Deployment and configuration of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS/WINS, DHCP, and Group Policy for customer projects.
  Deployment and configuration VMware and HyperV infrastructure.
  Implement and configure backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis, Veritas) for data protection in project environment.
  Configure and manage NAS storage systems as part of customer project implementations
  Deploy and integrate Microsoft technologies including O365, SCCM, and SCOM.
  
• OS Hardening & Security:Perform OS hardening and apply security best practices as part of project setups, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  Integrate security measures into project deliverables to protect against vulnerabilities.
  Perform remediation based on a security assessment.
  
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance Support:Assist internal maintenance team to provide technical support for system related incident across multiple customer environments
  
• Technical Documentation & Handover:Create comprehensive documentation for project deployments, including system configurations, operation guide, and user acceptance test (UAT) document.
  Provide a thorough handover, knowledge transfer, and training to clients, ensuring smooth ongoing operations post-project.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a System/Desktop Engineer, focusing on Windows Server, VMware, and Microsoft technologies, preferably in customer-facing roles.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/WINS, DHCP.
• Strong expertise in VMware and HyperV virtualization technologies implementations.
• Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Acronis, or Veritas
