Principal Responsibilities

- Develop strategies adapted to changing market conditions to grow the Electronic Specialty Gas (ESG) revenue and profit for country.

- Grow the revenue with existing customers with new products and services leveraging on relationships with existing customers. Identify potential customers in the electronics segment and complete research on their production process and application needs and position Linde’s offerings.

- Having in-depth knowledge of products value proposition. Becomes a subject expert in our products, internal processes and operations, liaise with internal stakeholders efficiently and remain up to date in industry news.

- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

- Prepare business proposals and negotiate with key stakeholders for new products.

- Identify and connect with key decision makers (initiator, influencer, decider, user) within a customer organization from commercial and technical perspective.

- Monitor competitor - understand local & regional competitor strengths and weaknesses (market share, cost positions, etc.), and expected/typical behavior.

- Manage ESG products responsibility to ensure all local, state and national regulations are complied with.

- Assist in coordinating product, process or engineering changes, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material flow.

Requirements

- Strong execution skills, motivational, and partnership building skills and self-driven

- Strong communications skills (effective presentations at all levels, negotiation, problem solving).

- Customer relationship building skills.

- Good ESG product knowledge on hazard classifications, chemical properties and compatibilities.

- Business or Technical degree/training preferred with minimum 3 years experience in electronic gases. Experience in equipment business (for wafer fab manufacturing, gas related) will be an added advantage.

- Financial skills with strong analytical approach.

- Language Skills – Fluent in both written and spoken English, so as to be able to communicate with customers

- Able to travel and possess driving license.

Responsibilities

• To assist any department in the hotel in formulating their items and material requirement using Inventory Procurement System (Example: Inventory Material) to obtain the best price.
• Sourcing of vendors/products to obtain cost savings without sacrificing quality.
• Conduct Request for Quotations/Tenders with analysis and making purchase recommendations.
• Ensure proper, systematic tracking and follow-up of purchase requests to see through its closure.
• Ensure timeliness in turnaround of requests received and accuracy of information submitted.
• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by management.

Technical Task

• To oversee the effective implementation of a new set up procurement system, for rooms purchase and Food and Beverage materials.
• To assist Food & Beverage department to build materials and recipe cost in procurement systems.
• To ensure the timely preparation of purchase orders so that all approved purchase requests can be ordered, and the goods delivered by the suppliers on the date needed.
• To coordinate and liaise with the Head of Department on all matters relating to quality and reliability of delivery with respect to current and potential suppliers.
• To supervise and coordinate receiving with internal staff and vendors.
• To manage and conduct monthly inventory count on high value materials and bar items.
