GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The role of an Associate Relationship Manager (Associate RM) is linked to the respective internal development programme. • Sea staff engagement and deployment on/off vessels.
• Assess and identify sea staff of good potentials and make recommendations for their specific deployment and promotions.
• Briefing Sea staff prior to their joining vessels with regards to SEMS matters as required, Charterers’ requirement, and any unique nature of the trade and Port requirements.
• Brief Sea staff prior to their joining vessel with regards to the operational aspects of the vessel and charterer’s requirements.
• Control and monitor vessels daily activities.
• Control and monitor budgets relevant to Operations Department.
• Maintain, control and monitor Company SEMS, Port and Charterers requirements, in conjunction with QHSSE Dept.
• Arrange and deploy Sea Staff for in-house training and external approved short courses training.
• Carry out annual Vessel Operation Inspection Audits as assigned by Manager in conjunction with the DPA.
• A member of the shore Emergency Response Team for the relevant vessels they are in charge of.
