The Vice President, IT Information Systems is a senior leadership role, responsible for coordinating and overseeing the strategic IT activities in support of functional priorities, such as strategic plans, initiatives, business optimization, and organizational development processes.
This senior leadership role supports the technology selection and qualification of value-stream aligned products that supports the execution of the global IT strategy whilst fostering a collaborate and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Acts as a principal aide to the IT function to coordinate activities in support of IT priorities, to include the development and implementation of functional and organizational processes and procedures in support of functional and organizational goals.
Prepares detailed operating and financial reports in support of strategic objectives.
Provides operational guidance to senior leadership and develops detailed work plans for the completion of tasks.
Acts as manager for IT transformation projects that are key to functional and strategic success.
Conducts IT project status with senior leadership in support of institutional goals.
Continuously drives innovation into the function– through leveraging emerging technologies, optimizing cost, automation, and changing ways of working.
Manages senior business relationships within the value streams, helping to balance and prioritize business demand with supply/delivery capacity constraints.
Implements, maintains and monitors standards, controls, processes, and solutions to minimize business and IT risk, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards.
Drives continuous improvement within the IT function and IT services offered to the business.
Plays an advisory, facilitative and managerial role within the organization and develops, communicates and drives the implementation of the IT function.
Maintains senior leadership relationships across multiple business areas to drive the achievement of divisional objectives.
Manages the operational and capital expenditure budget.
Executes on policy development and inspires action by providing comprehensive advice on operational processes to achieve efficiencies.
Negotiates critical matters with senior leadership and drives the implementation of decisions taken across the assigned geography.
Collaborate with partners to ensure the company is reviewing the latest technologies on a regular basis.
Work with the company business units to identify areas of opportunity to reduce the cost of technology acquisition.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Advanced degree such as an MBA is highly advantageous.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, Scaled Agile are beneficial.
Required Experience:
Substantial demonstrable experience as a senior IT leader, preferably gained within a global IT services organization.
Substantial background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementations.
Substantial background in driving IT/Digital transformation programs/initiatives.
Substantial demonstrable leadership experience managing several direct reports at a senior level.
Substantial knowledge or business experience in other business units or functional areas.
Knowledge and application:
