As the IT Service Desk Analyst you will work across multiple information systems which focus on business systems, where you will also support with the implementation of new systems across the organisation and help maintain and evolve our existing systems though resolving routine ICT service requests and issues. As the IT Service Desk Analyst, you will work closely with our Operational and ICT Engineering Teams to support the digitisation of their processes, enabling them to becoming more efficient. You will work closely with ICT Manager, Functional Digital Leads, Business Information Systems Manager, Group ICT teams and occasionally dedicated implementation teams to ensure our systems inspire our people, simplify what we do, so we can win.

DUTIES

Your duties as the IT Service Desk Analyst include:

• Provide support as a project team member as needed 
• Provide 1st line support for the user base located in Altrad Singapore 
• Support Inventory, Engineering tools and other software’s 
• Manage support requests from local and remote users, prioritising as necessary, and dealing with the full range of problems, only escalating those which need specialist or management attention
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software, hardware, and connectivity issues 
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports 
• Liaise with staff through a series or processes to help set up systems and resolve issues 
• Escalation of problem where appropriate 
• Proactive support - Continuous maintenance and monitoring of systems in accordance with appropriate plans 
• Preparation of equipment and services in line with work specification and appropriate deadlines 
• Manage multiple priorities and support ICT projects in fast paced and dynamic environment 
• Assist with Systems migration to cloud platform 
• Integrate, research, team ideas, and client feedback into solution requirements 
• Maintain a log of completed and ongoing system changes and Analyse root causes of business issues and develop appropriate resolutions 

About the Opportunity

The IT Engineer provides support to employees experiencing technical problems and performs troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, resolution, and escalations. Responsibilities and Main Duties:

• Strategize, execute, and oversee digital marketing campaigns spanning various social media platforms, email marketing, and display advertising.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform and enhance marketing strategies and decision-making procedures.
• Analyze data to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and generate reports for insight sharing.
• Collaborate with the journal teams in the Editorial Department to orchestrate marketing initiatives across various journals in Singapore and Asia-pacific region (APAC) including promoting the journals on social media platforms, at academic conferences or scholar meetings.
• Coordinate promotional marketing activities such as author training sessions or workshops at prominent universities and institutions in Singapore and the APAC region.
• Provide support for scholar training and facilitate collaboration negotiations with leading universities and institutions in Singapore and the APAC region.
• Represent the company at select academic conferences overseeing booth setup and taking responsibility for on-site operations.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key scholars and academic media outlets in Singapore and APAC region.
• Assist the line manager (marketing manager) and superiors in implementing new marketing initiatives or projects.
• Address inquiries related to all services offered by MDPI Singapore
• Provide administrative support in handling databases and logistics involved in clients outreach and promotional activities.

Responsibilities:

• Source for Mechanical and electronics components to support new projects
• Perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirements
• Responsible in managing the relationship with suppliers on all commercial issues
• Perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc to achieve the KPIs set by the management (eg. the material cost reduction target)
• Able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc.
• To be the escalation point when there is delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages
• Management of SAP data integrity

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• At least 2 years working experience in the EMS industry
• At least 1 year of experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of mechanical parts components
• Strong knowledge in electro-mechanical commodities (LCDs / cables) or electronics components (active or passive components)
• Proficient in SAP/Microsoft Office

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Establish the optimal production volumes based on demand, analyzing rough cut capacity, resource planning and detailed equipment planning.

· Create Supply Plan at site level which incorporate production plan and release plans to ensure that the production plans are accurately reflected in ERP System.

· Assess the impact of production plan on the budget operation costs and inventory.

· Work with MSAT function to ensure new product transfers and CMC activities are planned as per customers’ requirement.

· Manage the sites delivery schedule on time in full (OTIF), ensuring that product is produced, released & shipped on time.

· Ensure high “Customer Service Level” ensuring up to date information with customers regarding delivery promises and inventory levels.

· Ensure direct communication with Customers / next point of supply chain, plant-internal and -external stakeholders & partners with regard to internal changes.

· Represent the point of contact for follow-up on time delivery dates and quantities & escalating changes related to supply.

· Optimize local planning processes such as lead times, planning policies and production frequencies to increase the efficiency of the production unit.
