What is your mission?

Our client is a Commodity Trading MNC with HQ in Japan, currently seeks a Freight Management Specialist to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Freight Manager, the incumbent will be working in a team of 3 staffs. He / She will need to manage the full spectrum of freight operations such as chartering vessels for the transportation of dry bulk commodities, liaising with internal & external BAUs. The main duties will include overseeing all operational matters for the managed vessel, ensuring compliance with charter party agreements, voyage optimization, maximizing efficiency, minimizing cost, verifying shipping documents (B/L, LOI’s, pre-stowage plan), handling claim, monitoring & analyzing vessel performance metric, and data entry for vessel’s operation into the system.

What You Will Do

As Sales Executive Specialist, you will close sales in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives. Possibly manages existing accounts as part of a larger Account Team or could manage named accounts within a geography for a particular product or product set. Typically have a limited number of key/strategic accounts and maintains relationships with clients at the senior management or executive level. Generates business with new clients as well as generating additional business with existing clients.

• Identifies and articulates key areas of opportunities in the market. Analyzes development of sales, retention, and marketing initiatives that support a specific region– ultimately driving revenue and generating business with new clients as well with existing clients.
• Supports the Senior Sales Executives in closing deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
• Assists the Senior Sales Executives in conducting regular status and strategy meetings with the customers’ senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization’s product/service strategies.
• Responds to escalated customer issues.
• Develops a good understanding of industries, regulatory environments and markets.

The Fixed Income Front Office Application Support Team operates with a global footprint, ensuring comprehensive support to multiple business line across the dealer in various regions and time zones. Their primary focus is on supporting Fixed Income eTrading Applications within TD Securities, a critical area within the Capital Markets space.

This team works in close collaboration with partners at the dealer, addressing and resolving issues related to risk management, profit and loss (PnL) discrepancies, and offering challenges. Their role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the trading environment.

Additionally, the team is responsible for managing and resolving issues stemming from trade execution, settlements, and audit. This includes troubleshooting and remediating issues to ensure smooth and efficient trading operation.

About This Role

This position interacts with all Fixed Income Etrading Users – using electronic trading and risk platforms like ION, Anvil, Bloomberg and customized Algo solutions – the focus of this role is to develop and implement lasting, robust technology solutions as well as support the existing application and surrounding framework.
Role And Responsibilities

• Supporting & delivering solutions to the firm's Trading & Sales desks in Asia, Europe & North America
• The Analyst will join an experienced team responsible for managing applications that offer risk, trading, and trade capture functionalities to the Business.
• The role will initially involve 2nd line application support responsibilities, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders across the Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams.
• Training will be on the job, but given the nature of the role, the successful candidate is expected to have prior experience to electronic trading technologies and have Capital Markets domain Knowledge. They must have a 'hands-on' attitude and be proactive in enhancing their knowledge.
• Systems and applications comprise vendor and in-house built tools
• Develop ad-hoc reporting tools for all business groups
• This is primarily an onsite position due to the job scope of the role.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years hands on working experience with ION and Bloomberg.
• Experience supporting various trading exchanges.
• Good understanding of electronic trading, markets, connectivity, market making, pricing and algorithmic/automatic trading.
• Front Office / trade floor support experience
• Fixed Income functional knowledge, particularly in treasuries and bond trading
• Experience in supporting front-to-back trading systems and trading desks (example G10, EM)
• Ability to assess trading systems/components to investigate trade breaks, connectivity, data, and performance issues
• Understanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income markets.
• Must have experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams.
• Working experience with the following technologies: Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, MS SQL, Python
• Willingness to work from 7am to 4pm SGT Tuesday ~ Friday. Rotational shift within team, to start work at 5/5:30 am on Mondays following Sydney DST changes. Rotational On-call, weekend, bank holiday coverage is expected.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support data classification and taxonomy methods and standards, understand business, cooperate with data team. Support analysis, identification and marking various data samples in storage, and ensure accuracy and recall rate.

Role Overview:

Our client is currently looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist at a Japanese Trading company.

Location: West Area (They have a company bus from Jurong East MRT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely forecasts and exception reports for suppliers to ensure delivery commitments meet sales requirements.
• Expedite deliveries and resolve shortages to meet business needs.
• Manage and resolve quality/quantity issues, supplier returns, goods receipt, and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize holding costs.
• Negotiate strategic pricing and contractual arrangements with suppliers.
• Strengthen supplier relationships by improving processes and contractual terms.
• Oversee process improvement activities for JFC and third-party warehouses, including managing expired goods.
• Plan and execute stock replenishment through purchase orders.
• Handle purchasing tasks and coordinate documents and information with suppliers to support operational needs.
• Ensure all products comply with relevant import regulations and food safety standards.
