Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SOC Team Lead located in Singapore. As a SOC Team Lead, you will be responsible to:

• Plan monthly duty roster for site team.
• Cover shift function if there are any shift resources are absent.
• Generate report dashboarding for technical analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft excel/Power BI.
• Will run operation and work the SOP to ensure the 24X7 Security operations support services operate effectively.
• Responsible for site monthly report and documentations submissions.
• Onboarding/off boarding of manpower resources (1 month).
• Submit monthly timesheet and monthly service report as part of billing documentation timely.
• Work with Main Contractor to ensure security devices or apps are patched and firmware versions are upgraded in accordance with IM8 requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing security events, identifying potential threats, conducting investigations, and responding to security incidents
• Work closely with the end client SOC team to ensure the timely and effective detection, containment, and mitigation of security incidents
• Support security developments (such as evolving threats, new or enhanced security controls or changes to the technical infrastructure).
• Ensure that all Infrastructure related procedures, operation guide, architecture diagram, hardening baselines, security metrics, etc documents shall be reviewed annually or updated whenever there are changes within a month.
• Be responsible for strengthening Customer’s cyber security posture against cyber threats through vulnerability management, incident response and analysis, threat hunting and security operations.
• Manage Customer’s Cyber security operation and manage the reporting and handling of cyber security incidents.
• Perform Vulnerability Management leveraging on MVMS.
• Perform daily checks on the Endpoint Detection Response/Database Activity Monitoring dashboard for any abnormalities.
• On boarding of subscribed servers and infrastructure devices to MVMS.
• Provide supporting documents for audits.
• Perform Monthly Vulnerability Assessment, Quarterly Vulnerability Assessment for servers and network equipment.
• Work with application and infrastructure team to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in computer studies
• 2 years of experience working in a security operation, incident response, vulnerability management or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in network security, server security, endpoint security, web security etc.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Experience with log analysis, malware analysis, and network traffic analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to security incidents, analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Hands-on experience in security appliances such as IBM Guardium, MMVS, Carbon Black, Cyber Ark is a definite advantage.
• Experience in IT security/support operations with willingness to learn above mentioned tools are encouraged to apply. Experienced candidates will be considered for team lead role.
• Independent and capable of working in a high-pressure environment.
• Willing to work in rotational shift environment (including weekends and night shift).

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of network infrastructure projects, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables are defined.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to define project requirements, address issues, and manage expectations.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring the availability of the necessary tools, technologies, and personnel for successful project completion.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines, budget, or quality, implementing contingency plans when necessary.
• Budget Oversight: Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all network designs, implementations, and configurations adhere to organizational standards and industry best practices.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including negotiations, performance tracking, and ensuring deliverables meet required standards.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and create detailed reports outlining timelines, resource utilization, and any deviations from the original plan.
• Post-Implementation Support: Ensure a smooth transition of the completed network solution into the operational environment, supporting testing, troubleshooting, and training as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience focusing on IT infrastructure and network project management. Past experiences with project management of enterprise network technology refreshes and new data center networks and infrastructure builds.
• In-depth understanding of networking technologies, including Software-defined Network (SDN), LAN/WAN, firewalls, IPS, routers, switches, and cloud-based networking solutions.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale network projects from concept to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant networking certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP) are highly preferred.
• Experience with project management tools, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow is a plus.

Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid network architectures.
• Good knowledge with TCP/IP, network security protocols, VPNs, and encryption technologies.
• Familiarity with data center build and deployment of structured cabling technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Description

• Plan, execute, monitor and control the various technical aspect of the project.
• Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
• Responsible for supporting operational systems satisfying contractual Service Level Agreement

Requirements

• Experience in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS & virtualization environment (VMware, HyperV etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment
• Good Working knowledge with VPN, firewall appliances would be an advantage
• Good working knowledge with routers, switches would be an advantage
• Good working knowledge in hardware like servers, storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS) devices
• Experience in hardening of OS, system and network equipment
• Experience in Patch Management
