Senior Account Payable Executive, East area, $3,500-4000 (6 months contract)

Job description:

• Supports the verification of invoices to ensure accuracy (e.g., matching amounts to purchase orders, verifying goods received in the accounting system) before entry into the accounting software.
• Assists with the monthly processing of intercompany and vendor invoices in the accounting software.
• Aids in retrieving physical or digital documents as needed for audits, monthly reporting, or other purposes.
• Provides support for activities related to receivables.
• Assists in communicating and coordinating with external parties when required.
• Contributes to the preparation of reports.
• Participates in testing for system or process upgrades.
• Handles any other assigned ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, account payable
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
