Reporting directly to the Global IT Infrastructure Manager you will be required to be responsible for the day to day management of all relevant ICT systems and personnel.

In this role you will manage a helpdesk service function for all internal employees dealing with server hardware, server software applications and operating systems, phones, email enquiries, application issues and not limited to issues regarding the Network and PC Operating Systems, ensuring staff are suitably trained and issues are dealt with in a prompt manner. You will also be required to provide regular reports on problem areas with specific suggestions for enhancement to benefit all users.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day running of the helpdesk
• Assist in the design, selection, installation and configuration of systems, software, and infrastructure
• Provide hands-on technical 2nd/3rd line IT Support, and act as an escalation point for the helpdesk
• Responding to internal staff requests by phone/email/remote control of systems
• Creation of dynamic training materials including screenshots/videos for users
• Onboarding/Offboarding new staff on process and procedure for issue resolution
• Deploying employee systems and modifying standard images to suit growing needs
• Assist in standing up new IT infrastructure (physical or virtual)

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in related fields
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of help desk or technical support experience
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of System Administration
• MS Server & O365 Qualifications (preferably administration and automation)
• Server & Networking Qualifications
• Proven experience communicating directly with technical and non-technical employees to resolve their issues efficiently
• Comfortable in sharing knowledge through verbal or written instructions
• Ability to put people at ease while working in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to identify patterns in issues that can be used to create FAQs for easy user understanding
• Experience with Version Control Systems to support system management
• Advanced Experience with Microsoft Windows operating Systems (Desktop and Servers), O365 & Azure
• Experienced with virtualised computing infrastructure and private clouds
• Knowledge of Networking – TCP/IP Networks, VPNs, Firewalls(Cisco), Switches (Cisco), SDWAN

• Experience in supporting IT and operational audits.
• Comfortable working in a production environment
