• Batch Job Management - Monitor the end-of-day batch and ensure that it starts on the prescribed time, perform first level analysis if there’s failure, perform recovery and involve other stakeholders when necessary and do a milestone check of the critical jobs to ensure they complete on time and do the proper escalation if there’s any delay.
• Application System and Infrastructure Monitoring – Constantly monitor the alerts from the monitoring tool that tells whether an application, server, website, service, disk space or other system resources are having issue and inform the support persons if necessary.
• Service Requests and User Support – Handling of user requests such as running of one time job, scheduling of new job, copying and resending of file, troubleshooting transactional problem and involving other experts if necessary.
• Software Release Support – Support the regular release of new software from development teams by stopping and resuming the batch when necessary and ensuring all systems are available for user sanity testing after release deployment.
• System Patch and Upgrade Support – Support the regular third party system upgrade and patches and minimize any disruption
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Support – Awareness and readiness of the disaster recovery plans to ensure continuous operation and minimize disruption in case of disaster.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology of related fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.

• Knowledge in UNIX / TWS / SHELL Script / Python / Splunk.

Key accountability (Main purpose of this job):

Reporting to the Head of Technology, the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager will oversee the school's IT infrastructure, network services, and desktop support operations. This individual will ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performing technology environment that supports the educational, administrative, and extracurricular needs of students, faculty, and staff. Responsibilities (Key areas of Responsibilities):

Infrastructure Management and Operations

• Design, implement, and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and wireless access points across multiple campuses.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of internet and systems required for online learning platforms.
• Manage storage solutions, backups, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and continuity.

• Monitor and enforce acceptable use policies (ANUP) for students and staff to maintain a safe digital environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management, preferably in an education environment.
