Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible to provide Level 1 support to ensure the smooth running of the office from a Technology perspective

• Providing additional IT Support to the team
• Perform an inventory reconciliation on IT equipment, categorizing and documenting for better tracking

The lab officer also supports group?s research activities through procurement, design of experiments, equipment scheduling, risks identification and assessment to ensure efficient and safe operation of our labs. The roles and responsibilities include the following areas:

· Perform high-power laser material processing using robotics, CNC and hand-held systems on-site of ARTC and occasional visit to customer sites.

· Perform material testing, sample preparation, microstructure & defects analysis in fabricated coupons and parts.

· Tracking and managing lab resource utilization, procurement, and delivery.

· Storage space management and optimization.

· Ensure high operational readiness by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and liaising for repairs.
