What you’ll do as a C++ Developer at Akuna:

We are looking for motivated, self-starters to join the growing engineering team and contribute to the build-out of our proprietary options market-making trading platform. You will focus on analysis, design, implementation, and testing & delivery of Akuna’s trading system using the latest technologies. A pragmatic approach to technology solutions using the latest open source software will be required. The successful candidate will be given a unique level of exposure to an industry-leading team of options traders who participate fully in the design and on-going enhancements to our proprietary trading platform. In this role, you will:

• Design and build mission critical and complex trading systems
• Plan, design and implement high quality Linux services using modern C++ technologies
• Build software using Agile methodologies
• Participate in design sessions and code reviews
• Work on cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

Qualities that make great candidates:

• 3+ years of experience developing high-performance, scalable applications in modern C++
• A working knowledge C++17/20
• Experience with Linux and Python required
• Understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design
• Practical use of multi-threaded/multi-core programming paradigms
• Object-oriented design and programming experience
• A curiosity about and demonstrated interest in C++ language and modern CPU architecture is a plus
• Ability to take on projects and drive them through to completion
• Familiarity with trading and trading systems is a plus, though definitely not a requirement (we have internal training for this)
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Manage full sets of import/export shipping documentation
• Liaise with banks on LC opening, presentation and negotiation
• Generate timely and accurate weekly / monthly cash reports
• Manage petty cash, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial policies
• Process of daily trade export bills for bank negotiation
• To maintain an efficient filing system of all documents
• Perform all shipping functions, including updating shipping database and provide necessary operations support
• Other ad-hoc work assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Bilingual in Chinese and English, possess strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Good organizational, planning and co-ordination skills
• Must be a team player and also be able to work independently with minimum supervision while demonstrating attention to detail

Other Information:

• 4 or 5-days work week in central district

Contract Period:

Deployment:

• Tuesday to Sunday (5 days Week) - 8.15 AM to 6.15 PM (including 1 hr lunch break)
• Sunday & Monday - off

Scope of Works:

1. Open and close up the gallery;
2. Attend to visitors’ requests, feedback, phone calls and emails;
3. Manage visitors’ registration, set-up, operations and tear down for events and/or activities;
4. Make daily rounds at regular intervals to ensure that exhibits are functioning and check for defects in the gallery;
5. Prepare and submit daily reports which include visitorship, checks on gallery, status of defects in the gallery, etc;
6. Stock take and replenish collaterals and premiums;
7. Pack SMG premiums for visits and/or events;
8. Manage simple troubleshooting for the gallery’s exhibits and infrastructure
9. Liaise with other vendors and contractors to ensure that above daily duties are carried out properly;
10. Attend the fire safety briefings, fire drills and handle incidents such as accidents with injury or illness, any acts of disturbance or violence and acts of mischief or vandalism in the gallery;
11. Manage and schedule volunteers;
12. Perform non-cash transactions for sales of merchandise, monitor stock levels, and conduct inventory counts;

Requirement:

• Basic First Aid with CPR AED Trained
• Proficient with MS Office
• Familiar with Risk Assessment and Escape Route and Emergency procedures

As the Customer Service Executive (CSE) for Contact Centre, you will be responsible for providing our Singapore customers prompt and personalized service when handling their queries from multiple channels over a full range of consumer financial products and services. In performing your role, you are also expected to comply with the bank’s policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Handle calls and emails promptly by providing accurate and timely information, alternatives and solutions to customers on products and services
• Respond to customers’ queries and concerns with the aim of achieving first call resolution.
• Follow up promptly with customers to resolve issues
• Provide customers’ feedback to respective business partners to improve customer experience
• Introduce and educate customers on the self-service/automated banking channels.
• Perform after- call administration work
• Use customer service and sales skills to optimise customer satisfaction of each customer contact
• Maximise opportunities to deepen customer relationship via upsell or cross-sell appropriate products and services

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• Has a passion for customer service
• Able to work in a team
• Able to speak and write good English
• Able to speak Mandarin will be an advantage (to support the Chinese speaking customers)
• Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Able to commit to 24/7 rotating shift work, must be comfortable to work some night shifts
• Will be required to work 5 days in a week, including weekends and public holidays

• Banking experience will be an advantage

1. Managing Trade documentation and operations for Paper business of the Company

2. Handle Import & Export documentations (BL / Packing List / Invoices / COO etc.)

3. Process and submit import L/C application to the bank, review export L/C and request amendments if any.

4. Coordinate with suppliers and/or their agent for documentation & shipping requirement.

5. Check shipment status and inform sales / customer of the status timely.

6. Check import shipping documents and ensure it complies with the contract.

7. Prepare export documents and ensure that it strictly complies with the letter of credit and/or customer’s requirement.

8. Monitor payment from customer against L/C or terms whichever applicable

9. Constantly co-ordinate with global teams to ensure timely delivery of the commodity

10. Gain in depth understanding of the current and future needs of clients and develop long term plans to realize the potential

11. Work with Senior Management to determine the effective direction and process for growing revenue and profits

Experience & Qualifications:

· A minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in Documentation and Trading Operations

· A knowledge of India and Africa Markets in Paper a must

· Knowledge of Business Central ERP added advantage

· Should be a team player, willing to meet tight deadlines and able to work across time zones

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills

· Strategic Thinking – easily identifies customer needs and satisfies them

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
