• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education in Teaching (Chinese language) or its equivalent

• Safety

• Led the team of laundry operators to complete each daily job responsibility. Ensure proper laundry process by the staff working in the following sections:

1. Checker section - Ensure the correct laundry physical checks and tagging on laundry items before washing.
2. Sorter section - to ensure the correct laundry sorting of white vs. color, towel vs. sheet, and uniforms.
3. Washer section - to ensure the correct sorting, loading weight, and washing / dry cleaning program is carried out according to the Laundry Care Label.
4. Dryer section - Ensure the correct drying temperature and time are set according to the Laundry Care Label.
5. Presser section - to ensure the correct setting temperature for machines, the types of materials, and the Laundry Care Label. Reject stained items and send them for the rewash process.
6. Towel section - to ensure the correct fold design and pack quantity according to customers’ requirements. Reject the stained item and send it for the rewash process.
7. Flatwork section - to ensure the correct speed setting selection for machines and pack quantity according to customers’ requirements. Reject stained items and send them for the rewash process.
8. Packer section - to ensure the correct laundry items and quantity are packed according to customers’ requirements.
9. Driver section - to ensure the laundry items are collected and delivered timely.

• Take full ownership of Operation Administration and upkeep of the operation record.

1. Oversee the planning of the monthly Operations duty rooster.
2. Approve annual leave application from the direct reporting employee.
3. Coordinate with Operations Manager/Laundry Manager on training new operation staff.
4. Coordinate with Operations Manager/Laundry Manager on coaching and counseling operation staff who failed to comply with company HR policies or Operation protocol.
5. Record operation events and challenges in the Daily Operation book and follow up to resolve any reported incident.
6. Record laundry incidents such as Laundry Damage claims and Lost & Found Items.

• Take full ownership of Operation maintenance and upkeep of all laundry equipment.

1. Ensure the operation staff performs daily housekeeping on the laundry machinery/equipment area.
2. Coordinate with Operations Manager and Engineering team to execute routine maintenance of machinery/equipment.
3. Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Engineering team to complete outstanding repairs of machinery/equipment.

• Operation contractual commitments.

1. Liaise with customers on Express laundry and ensure items are returned on time.
2. Attend to customers’ inventory, customers’ rewash items, and customers’ missing and damaged items.

At least 1 year of working experience in the related field or operations environment.

Job Description & Requirements

· Plan, supervise, and deliver the program in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks, and philosophy of MindChamps.

· Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching aids

· Keep accurate records of the children’s progress and address the children’s educational and developmental needs individually

· Complete the progress reports of the children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for every child

· Communicate with parents via the Connection Book at least once a week, weekly team newsletters, and conferences

· Meet the parents to address any concerns

· Use positive discipline techniques at all times

· Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom

· Render basic first aid as and when necessary

· Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations and learning environment of the classroom

· Be familiarised with all working curriculum documents, handbooks, and policy manual

Major functions
The post holder provides support and assistance to the Education and Outreach arm of the Conservation and Science Department of WWF-Singapore on multiple projects, activities and tasks. The Education and Outreach team aims to bring conservation and sustainability education and awareness to various stakeholders in Singapore. The post holder will play a vital role in developing and supporting the successful execution of the #WeGotThis Programme via contribution to its content development, event logistics and management, building and maintaining the #WeGotThis youth alumni community, and creating strategic communications and designing collaterals for #WeGotThis social media and community channels. The post-holder works across the organisation - including but not limited to Operations, Procurement and Finance, Fundraising and Communications, Field and Science in developing and delivering high quality education and outreach programmes to educational institutions, corporations, and the public.

Major duties & responsibilities:

• Development of education and outreach content on various sustainability issues such as Climate Change, Biodiversity, Circular Economy, Sustainable Finance, etc.
• Propose and execute programmes for key target audience such as students, youths and community
• Craft project proposals for new education and outreach programmes aligned with global and local strategies
• Design, undertake and/or participate in citizen science projects and biodiversity monitoring for a varied target audience.
• Produce effective social media collaterals and graphics, managing content and updates across social media channels for youth programmes
• Monitor engagement levels and provide recommendations on content optimisation across social media channels
• Collaborate with the team to develop engagement strategies and activities aimed at organically growing the youth alumni community on digital community platforms and in-person
• Build relationships, engage and mediate discussions, and foster a sense of community among youth participants
• Day-to-day execution and management of local projects e.g. Eco-Schools, WeGotThis, Outdoor outreach activities.
• Conduct workshops, talks and organise outreach events.
• Coordinate and attend updates with project partners, internal teams and colleagues from other WWF offices.
• Identify, liaise, coordinate and manage external vendors.
• Support report writing on progress and updates for partners and relevant stakeholders
• Manage, track and ensure all partnership and donor commitments are met.
• Support line manager with financial commitments and accounting for the programme.
• Support projects - including conservation, fundraising and communications work - by performing fact-checking, using scientific evidence as required.
• Organise and coordinate meetings and workshops with internal and external staff, partners, donors, government agencies and the public.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related fields.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability, conservation and related topics.
• At least two years of project management experience in conservation, sustainability, natural resource management or related fields.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Good people management, engagement, and networking skills.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information from various departments and stakeholders and present information in a structured and consistent way.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s/Hons/MSc degree in environmental or biological sciences or related fields.
• Demonstrated general knowledge of global sustainability, conservation and related topics.
• Specific knowledge of local sustainability issues, terrestrial and marine life will be a plus.
• Prior experience in conducting outreach activities such as organising workshops, talks, guided walks etc preferred.
• Ideally, one to two years of experience working in education, conservation, sustainability, natural resource management or related fields, however fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Familiarity with key digital platforms (Telegram, FB, IG, LinkedIn, YouTube) and best practices
• Proficient with design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Photoshop
• Proven experience developing social media campaigns
• Ideally First Aid, CPR, and AED certified.
• Able to work on weekends when necessary (off in lieu provided)
