As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of our innovative payment solutions, working closely with a team dedicated to advancing our technology and service offerings. • Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts based on project requirements
• Execute test cases and document test results for analysis
• Identify and report software defects, track issues and work with the development for the fixes.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested application still performs as expected
• Provide input and feedback on application usability and user interface design
• Participate in the improvement of testing processes, tools and methodologies
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar areas
• Added advantage for individual who has experience in mobile application or web application for customers.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies/platforms in Mobility, Analytics, Cloud and Social with a strong self-initiative to keep up with Digital trends.
• Strong understanding of application testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Excellent problem investigation skills and attention to details
• Good communication skills for effectively collaborating with team members
• Worked with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Working experience in a financial services industry and/or operating under strict regulatory constraints is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in application testing or quality assurance roles

Job Responsibilities:

• The role involves modernizing and transforming HR and Payroll (HRP) processes as part of a Whole-of-Government (WOG) HRP system using SAP. The jobholder will work with public service agencies and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain effective system and policy solutions, driving productivity and organizational effectiveness.
• Key Responsibilities
• Translate policy objectives into practical SAP solutions and optimize HRP processes for efficient implementation.
• Enhance and maintain the system to ensure responsive and effective HR functionality.
• Integrate user experience (UX) requirements into SAP system design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute a change management plan for a smooth transition to the new HRP system.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance HR processes.

Job Requirements

• GCE A/Diploma/ Degree holder with 2 years of working experience
• Working knowledge of HR business processes and systems
• Experience in executing HR transactions in SAP/Workday or similar HRIS
• Experience in Shared Services will be advantageous
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Meticulous, service-oriented and have attention for details
• Good project management skills and strive to deliver on time.

What you will be doing

Argus’ core business is focused on developing, and promoting the usage of, Argus commodity prices indices. The primary function of Vice President, Business Development, Chemicals, Asia & Middle East will be to support and drive price assessment and benchmark opportunities for the chemical sector, which the company has identified as a significant new opportunity. This is a senior business development and high visibility role reporting into the SVP, Strategy & Business Development.

The role has responsibility for relationship building with influential stakeholders in key commodity markets.

The key measure of success for this role is demonstrable progress over time in the use of Argus prices in the chemical markets in Asia and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead a small team of business development managers

· Executing on strategies and market development plans

· Responsible for the commercial growth of the chemical sector in Asia and Middle East

· Work closely with regional and global internal stakeholders to align with the Argus global vision for the chemical sector

· Special emphasis on activities in terms of building strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders and advocacy to increase likelihood of Argus price usage in markets.

· Be the key face of Argus in chemicals, promoting usage of Argus to clients, the governments, industry bodies etc.

Skills and Experience

· At least 15 years of professional experience in chemical markets in Asia and/or Middle East

· Intellectual Dexterity: the ability to analyse complex problems and pick up new concepts and strategies quickly

· Hands-on: Demonstrable experience of having worked in a high energy, fast growth, environment

· Strong personal credibility and communication skills, accomplished in individual, group, business and social settings

· Be able to balance an imaginative and highly creative approach while at the same time demonstrating the pragmatism that is needed to work and get things done in a high growth environment.

· Credibility: the ability to inspire trust and respect with key market stakeholders, including clients

· Strong commercial awareness
