Role Summary:
Head of Regional Technology is the Technology Key account management role, responsible global products and services management into respective regions and support. While HAVI Supply Chain technology is maximizing the scope and scale of global standard products, the role is also responsible to manage local applications landscape with focus on application rationalization. And to ensure on-ground global Technology services and provide the best end-user experience.
The role will include day-to-day leadership of Cluster Leads, Integrations manager(s) and Project managers located in Europe or APAC or NA:
· Acting as Technology Business partner for Regional SVPs, Cluster VPs to communicate Technology strategic directions and align stakeholders on these directions, being able to articulate the value of global products and services
· Transferring ownership local products/applications to respective Business Partnering teams (both Internal and Customers Product lines) to enable end-to-end ownership on their side of all aligned to Global Business processes areas products/solutions/applications
· Ensuring region/cluster level stakeholders alignment and buy-in
· Contributing to Global Supply Chain Technology Portfolio definition and management through providing inputs on markets/clusters prioritization, market/cluster readiness (change, resources readiness and cost acceptance etc.), business cases.
· Collaborating with Global Business Partnering teams to ensure value realization in every market
· Managing unique value-added services in Region which are not in scope of Global technology
· Providing on-the-ground end-user services and limited infrastructure (operational technology, network and hardware) support on behalf of Global Infrastructure & Operations team
· Leveraging set of global products capabilities to onboard new customers and suppliers, to enable HAVI Supply Chain to sell maximum of global services
· Adapting and cascade the Global Supply Chain Technology information: portfolio, end-users communications, products and services performance and developments to different type of user communities (from VPs to office and field workers)
· Managing Regional/Cluster/Market level Technology risks and acting as Cyber Security Awareness ambassadors
· Acting as Technology Business partner for existing and new Customers and ensuring demand is captured and funneled to Global technology teams
· Owning Regional view of Global Technology portfolio
This role is critical to build a trust on Technology services provided by Global Supply Chain Technology teams and strategic partners on a regional/cluster/market level and build a “one team” spirit between Global technology and Regional Technology teams.
This role will work with senior regional executives in Supply Chain Business Unit and Technology to align a solutions delivery plans that aligns with the business outcome.
This role is responsible on a regional level for value realization and tracking.
He/She is accountable of ensuring standard customer integration processes are followed and standard integration products are leveraged.
The role will work closely with:
· CIO to ensure consistency in messaging and priorities, to enable the transformation on regional level, eliminating and avoiding “shadow IT” and avoiding
· Technology Strategy, Planning & Governance (includes PMO, Vendor Management, Strategy) to ensure all PMO, Technology Performance and Governance rules and standards are followed.
· Enterprise Architecture to ensure local products/applications follow the architectural principles and patterns, replacement plans are in place and agreed with EA
· Security to ensure security requirements are met by local products delivery processes, risks are managed and awareness is improving
· Infrastructure & Operations to ensure end-user services, infrastructure services meet regional/cluster needs, Service Management and Service Delivery integrity and consistency across markets
· Business Processes & Data Governance to ensure products are enabling agreed golden standard business process or business processes are adjusted in limited cases
It has overall P&L responsibility for the regional Technology, including any targets set by the Supply Chain CIO.
The role is part of respective Regional Leadership team (-s)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working with the CIO, Regional SVPs (Western and Eastern Europe, APAC, NA), Regional Sr.Directors (People, Finance, Commercial and Operations) to translate global technology strategies and directions to regional level and get alignment, to understand the customers pipelines and customers’ demands
- Working with IT Controlling and regional Finance to forecast and deliver the regional P&L results, including budgeted CAPEX and OPEX costs, depreciation, and annual revenues from market charges
- Supporting the periodic re-pricing of the existing products to markets and customers
- Working with the Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure & Operation, Security & their teams to ensure that local technology agenda is aligned with the agreed Enterprise Architecture, information security and infrastructure architecture both within and outside Logistics
- Coaching the team of Clusters Leads, identifying and resolving gaps in skills and resources
- Promotes and enhances the Agile Way of Working and Fusion Team operating model
- Assist in defining and implementing the organization model, staffing needs and filling the positions
- Participating in Product Boards as required to steer product delivery execution
- Participating in Regional Leadership team meeting to represent Technology overall and provide insights on technology strategy and performance
- Participating in Customers Boards to steer the technology roadmaps and ensure alignment, including technology pricing models
- Participating Joint Review Boards with strategic partners
- Steering customers onboarding/integrations and DCs network changes projects
