Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Tutor to teach O-Level Elementary Mathematics (E Math) and Additional Mathematics (A Math). This part-time or freelance position offers the flexibility to work with small hybrid groups (up to 10 students, both online and in-person).

As a Mathematics Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping students' understanding of Mathematics and providing tailored guidance to help them excel academically.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Singapore O-Level E Math and A Math syllabus, using our in-house curriculum and teaching materials.
• Create supplementary resources (e.g., worksheets or assessments) to address students' specific learning needs.
• Manage a small hybrid classroom of up to 10 students, ensuring an inclusive and productive learning environment.
• Track and evaluate students' progress, providing actionable feedback to support their improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with parents to update them on their child's progress and keep them informed.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and respectful workplace.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics or an education-related field. NIE/MOE-trained candidates will have an advantage.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in O-Level E Math and A Math (public or private sector). Strong familiarity with the Singapore O-Level Mathematics syllabus.
  
• Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proven ability to deliver effective and engaging lessons in a hybrid learning environment.
  
• Availability: Able to teach on weekday evenings and/or weekends. Committed to teaching for at least one academic year.
  
• Personal Attributes: Professional, reliable, and respectful in all interactions. Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the work of production planner in general.
2. Support production planner on monthly production plan
3. Support the preparation for monthly production planning meeting.
4. Monitor raw materials/packaging inventory to ensure smooth production.
5. Coordinate with various departments on raw material purchase and delivery.
6. Ensure accurate data in monthly inventory and stock count report.
7. Support plan for re-work schedule to manage off-grade product inventory.
8. Coordinate by-product collection and sales according to established workflow
9. Follow safety regulation in the plant & take active initiatives in safety and environmental management.
10. Other adhoc tasks assigned by production planner.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma or Nitec in chemical engineering or equivalent
2. Other field of study and Candidates without relevant experience will be considered
3. Understand the general workflow of production planning cycle from sales forecast, production planning, raw material planning, material receiving, production, finish goods storage
4. Proficient in using computing software - MS Word and Excel
5. Meticulous and good interpersonal skill is essential.
6. Prior experience using SAP will be advantageous.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN (5 Day / West)

• Required Skill(s) : Aircon, Refrigeration, Chiller, Mechanical, Vacuum Pumps, Water Pumps, Scrubbers or Chillers.
• Able to travel on short notice
• Possess valid driving license (optional)
